Objective To explore the role and potential mechanism of human miRNA-205-3p in children with Kawasaki disease (KD) and KD combined with giant coronary artery aneurysm (GCAA). Methods Thirty-six children with KD were hospitalized in Department of Cardiology, Children’s Hospital Capital Institute of Pediatrics from November 2018 to February 2021, included 30 cases in KD group, and six cases in KD combined with GCAA group. There were 20 healthy children and 20 febrile children matched by age and sex in the same period (KD group and KD combined with GCAA group: healthy control group: fever control group = 1.8∶1∶1). The differentially expressed miRNA in KD group, KD combined with GCAA group, healthy control group, and fever control group were screened by microarray. Fluorescence quantitative polymerase chain reaction (qPCR) was used for verification. Possible related regulatory pathways were explored by bioinformatics analysis. Twelve C57BL/6 SPF male mice aged three to four weeks were divided into KD combined with coronary artery injury (CAL) group and control group according to random number table method, with six mice in each group. The animal model of KD combined with CAL was established by intraperitoneal injection of Lactobacillus casei cell wall components. Transforming growth factor-β1 (TGF-β1) and SMAD5 mRNA expressions in mice heart tissue were analyzed by fluorescence qPCR. Results Twelve miRNAs with more than 10 fold differential expression were screened by microarray. The expression of miRNA-205-3p in KD group was significantly higher than that in healthy control group and fever control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). The expression of miRNA-205-3p in KD combined with GCAA group was significantly higher than that in healthy control group, fever control group, and KD group, and the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). Bioinformatic analysis suggested miRNA-205-3p might regulate KD and GCAA formation through TGF-β/SMAD5 signaling pathway. TGF-β1 and SMAD5 mRNA expressions in mice heart tissue of KD combined with CAL group were higher than those in control group, the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion miRNA-205-3p can play a role in the formation of KD and KD combined with GCAA through TGF-β/SMAD5 signaling pathway. This research identifies a new target for clinical intervention in the formation of KD combined with GCAA.

ZHANG Shuyan SUN Shuning
Objective To study the correlation between Alzheimer’s disease (AD) and type two diabetes mellitus (T2DM). Methods One hundred and fifty senile patients with AD first hospitalized in Department of Internal Neurology of Jinqiu Hospital of Liaoning Province from 2017 to 2020 were selected. According to whether combined with T2DM and the course of disease, they were divided into 84 cases in non-T2DM group, 29 cases in T2DM less than or equal to five years group and 37 cases in T2DM more than five years group. The basic data and cognitive function scores of each group were observed. The patients with AD complicated with T2DM were divided into 43 cases in group A and 23 cases in group B according to whether to control blood glucose or not, the course of AD and the score of cognitive function were observed. The effects of the course of T2DM and the level of fasting blood glucose (FBG) on the course of AD and cognitive function were analyzed. Results Body mass index, incidence of stroke, FBG and course of AD in non-T2DM group, T2DM less than or equal to five years group, and T2DM more than five years group were compared, and the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). Mini-mental state scale (MMSE), activity of daily living scale (ADL) and AD pathological behavior scale (BEHAVE-AD) scores in non-T2DM group, T2DM less than or equal to five years group, and T2DM more than five years group were compared, the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). Compared with group A, the course of AD in group B was prolonged, FBG levels and glycosylated hemoglobin increased, MMSE score decreased, Alzheimer’s disease assessment scale-congnitive score, BEHAVE-AD score, and ADL score increased, and the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). The course of T2DM and FBG level were influencing factors of the course of AD, MMSE score, BEHAVE-AD, and ADL score (P < 0.05). Conclusion Patients with AD complicated with T2DM have a long course of AD and a significant decline in cognitive function. Long course T2DM and hyperglycemia can promote the progress of AD. Therefore, if T2DM is found early in AD patients, blood glucose should be controlled in time, which may delay the progress of AD.

YANG Guanghui1 PAN Huimin2 ZHA Lifen2 GU Jun1
Objective To investigate the expression of long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) membrane associated guanylate kinase, WW, and PDZ domain containing two-antisense RNA three (MAGI2-AS3) in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) patient tissues and the relationship with pathological parameters and prognosis. Methods One hundred and three patients with NSCLC admitted to Danyang People’s Hospital Affiliated to Nantong University from August 2016 to August 2018 were selected. The expressions of lncRNA MAGI2-AS3 in cancer tissues and adjacent tissues were detected. The relationship between lncRNA MAGI2-AS3 expression and pathological parameters of NSCLC patients was analyzed. According to lncRNA MAGI2-AS3 expression level, patients were divided into high lncRNA MAGI2-AS3 expression group (≥ mean lncRNA MAGI2-AS3 expression level) and low lncRNA MAGI2-AS3 expression group (< mean lncRNA MAGI2-AS3 expression level). The three-year survival curve of NSCLC patients was drawn by using Kaplan-Meier method. Prognostic factors of NSCLC patients were analyzed by using multi-factor Cox regression. Results The expression of lncRNA MAGI2-AS3 in NSCLC tissues was lower than that in adjacent tissues, the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). There were significant differences in the expression of lncRNA MAGI2-AS3 in patients with different TNM stages and lymph node metastasis (P < 0.05). The median survival time of high lncRNA MAGI2-AS3 expression group (51 cases) was longer than that of low lncRNA MAGI2-AS3 expression group (52 cases), the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). Multivariate Cox regression analysis showed that degree of tumor differentiation, TNM stage, lymph node metastasis, and expression level of lncRNA MAGI2-AS3 were influencing factors for poor prognosis in patients with NSCLC (P < 0.05). Conclusion The low expression of lncRNA MAGI2-AS3 in NSCLC tissues is related to TNM stage, lymph node metastasis, and poor prognosis, which can be used as a prognostic indicator for NSCLC patients.

Experience summary of Professor An Haiyan in treating diabetic nephropathy with “xinrun tongluo method”
ZHAO Jing1 AN Haiyan2 CAO Yunsong2 GUO Xiaoyuan2
Diabetic nephropathy is the major microvascular complication of diabetes, and it is also the main cause of end-stage renal disease, the treatment is difficult. Professor An Haiyan believes that the disease always belongs to the syndrome of “deficiency of root cause and excess of manifestation”, and emphasizes that “blood stasis of kidney collaterals” is the core pathogenesis of the disease, which runs through the whole process. Pay attention to treatment by stages, give consideration to both manifestation and root cause, and develop both deficiency and excess. When the prescription is used, it should be flexibly combined with “xintong” and “rourun” Chinese medicine, and “xinrun tongluo method” should be skillfully used in the treatment of each stage, which should be determined according to the syndrome. Each clinical certificate is validated. This article summarizes and discusses Professor An Haiyan’s experience in treating diabetic nephropathy, and attaches a case of medical treatment to prove it, so as to broaden the train of thought for clinical treatment of this disease.

Clinical understand on Professor Wu Hong in treating chest bi with Fuling Xingren Gancao Decoction
WANG Dicheng1 GE Luandie1 CAO Panxia1 HU Menghui1 WANG Kaixia1 WU Hong2
Fuling Xingren Gancao Decoction is a classic formula created by Zhongjing in treating chest bi. Professor Wu Hong is good at using classic formula to treat heart disease, he believes that fluid retention and qi stagnation is the main pathological factor of chest bi. The application of Fuling Xingren Gancao Decoction in treating chest bi has achieved good results. Combined with the syndrome differentiation thought of six meridians, formula syndrome, qi and blood and fluid, he puts forward that the main pathogenesis of this formula is taiyin disease, water and dampness stagnate in the interior, and qi is not smooth. The key points of formula syndrome are: oppression in chest and panting are the main syndrome, and the syndrome of pale and fat tongue, white and thick greasy fur, and stringy and slippery pulse, which are caused by stopping fluid, dampness retention and qi stagnation. Clinical syndrome differentiation and treatment of chest bi following this context, it will be easier to achieve the purpose of corresponding formula and syndrome, and fast effect. This paper analyzes Professor Wu Hong’s experience in clinical application of this prescription by quoting ancient and modern medical classics, and introducing a case study.

ZENG Qiuju1 XUAN Guowei2 WU Meida1 LIAO Liehui2
Psoriasis is a common and difficult skin disease in clinic. It has a long course, recurrent attacks and is not easy to cure. The understanding of physicians in all dynasties about the cause and pathogenesis is nothing more than blood stasis, blood dryness, blood heat, wind evil, dampness toxin, and so on. Chinese medicine master Xuan Guowei advocates making a point from dryness, toxin and blood stasis for clinical treatment of psoriasis, and starting from blood. According to different clinical manifestations, Professor Xuan divides patients with psoriasis into three types: blood-heat syndrome, blood-stasis syndrome and blood-deficiency syndrome, which are treated separately by cooling blood and detoxifying, promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis, nourishing blood and moistening dryness. And Professor Xuan creates a basic prescription of psoriasis which originated from Pifu Jiedu Decoction. This paper summarizes Professor Xuan’s experience in treating psoriasis from blood, and lists a case for peer’s communication and reference.

HUANG Shunying1 HUANG Jiangfa2 GUAN Jianhao1 LIN Jinhao1 XU Yilang1 LIU Yan2
Ankle deformity caused by premature closure of distal tibial epiphysis is a severe complication of fracture in children, and its treatment is still controversial currently. In order to explore the treatment of ankle deformity caused by premature closure of distal tibial epiphysis in children, reduce the difficulty of surgical skills and explore operational ideas, this paper retrospectively analyzes clinical data of a child with ankle deformity caused by premature closure of distal tibial epiphysis in Department of Orthopedics of Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Chinese Medicine. By analyzing the age, symptoms, and bone bridge types of children, reviewing relevant literature, discussing treatment scheme, and providing clinical diagnosis and treatment experience for arthroscopic resection of central bone bridge. The main cause of the deformity in this case is the formation of bone bridge. Since Langenski?觟ld applied bone bridge resection for the first time, this technology is famous for its high requirements for operation skills, especially the central bone bridge. There are deficiencies in the previous C-arm machine and navigation system guidance. Arthroscopic monitoring and guidance can provide better guarantee for the accuracy of bone bridge resection and deformity correction.

Research on English translation standards of traditional Chinese medicine terms based on traditional Chinese medicine English corpus
ZHANG Zhe XU Li MIN Ling YAO Qiuhui ZHANG Yue
Objective To compare the application of two mainstream English translation standards of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) terminologies in published research papers: International Standard Chinese-English Basic Nomenclature of Chinese Medicine (ISNTCM) by World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies and WHO International Standard Terminologies on Traditional Medicine in the Western Pacific Region(ISTTM) by World Health Organization. Methods Terminologies from the two standards were collected and processed into Excel and Txt files to count their numbers of words and phrases. A total of 202 papers on TCM published by English edition of Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine and American Journal of Chinese Medicine from its inception to September 2019 were collected, and a small TCM English corpus was built. The word frequency of two standard phrases and words in the corpus were retrieved. Results The shared words in the two major standards were more than their unique words, indicating that their core morphemes were basically the same, but due to the difference in collocations, there were more unique phrases than the common ones in the two standards. Besides, it was shown that for the terminologies corresponding to the same Chinese meaning, the word frequency of ISNTCM was generally higher than that of ISTTM, indicating that ISNTCM was more popular than ISTTM in published TCM research papers. Conclusion English translation standard of TCM terminology should not only conform to the rules of TCM, linguistics and other disciplines, but also follow the principle of “conventional practice”. Sampling the practical use of existing standards using corpus technology provides empirical evidence support for the related theoretical researches and functions as an effective way to resolve theoretical disputes. Besides, this study also shows that corpus technology might be applied to compile the English dictionary or to establish the English standard for TCM terminologies.
