Abstract Ankle deformity caused by premature closure of distal tibial epiphysis is a severe complication of fracture in children, and its treatment is still controversial currently. In order to explore the treatment of ankle deformity caused by premature closure of distal tibial epiphysis in children, reduce the difficulty of surgical skills and explore operational ideas, this paper retrospectively analyzes clinical data of a child with ankle deformity caused by premature closure of distal tibial epiphysis in Department of Orthopedics of Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Chinese Medicine. By analyzing the age, symptoms, and bone bridge types of children, reviewing relevant literature, discussing treatment scheme, and providing clinical diagnosis and treatment experience for arthroscopic resection of central bone bridge. The main cause of the deformity in this case is the formation of bone bridge. Since Langenski?觟ld applied bone bridge resection for the first time, this technology is famous for its high requirements for operation skills, especially the central bone bridge. There are deficiencies in the previous C-arm machine and navigation system guidance. Arthroscopic monitoring and guidance can provide better guarantee for the accuracy of bone bridge resection and deformity correction.
