ZHANG Wenwen1 LIU Luyao1 CAO Juan1 LI Weibo1 DONG Chunling2 LI Bo1
Objective To study the effect of Disulfiram (DSF) on the genes expression of cytokine secreted by tumor-associated macrophages (TAMs) in oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) tumor cell supernatant. Methods RAW264.7 cells were randomly divided into control group and research group. Two induction methods were used, the first inducement was that CAL27 tumor cell supernatant was used to induce RAW264.7 cells for 48 h in control group; and DSF and copper gluconate (DSF/Cu) 2 μmol/L were added to the CAL27 tumor cell supernatant to induce RAW264.7 cells for 48 h in research group. The second inducement was that RAW264.7 cells were induced with CAL27 tumor cell supernatant for 48 h, and then continued to be induced for 48 h in control group; in research group, after CAL27 tumor cell supernatant induced RAW264.7 cells for 48 h, DSF/Cu 2 μmol/L was used to intervene for 48 h. The gene expression levels of nitric oxide synthase (iNOS), interleukin-12 (IL-12), tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α), argininase 1 (Arg-1) and IL-10 were measured. Results DSF/Cu was added in the induction process, iNOS mRNA level of research group was higher than that of control group, Arg-1 mRNA level was lower than that of control group, and the differences were highly statistically significant (all P < 0.01). There were no significant differences in IL-12, TNF-α and IL-10 mRNA levels between two groups (P > 0.05). DSF/Cu was added 48 h after induction, iNOS mRNA, IL-12 mRNA, TNF-α mRNA, IL-10 mRNA levels in research group were higher than those in control group, and Arg-1 mRNA level was lower than that in control group, with statistically significant differences (P < 0.05 or P < 0.01). Conclusion DSF can regulate the gene expression of cytokines secreted by TAMs, which helps to further clarify the mechanism of disulfiram against OSCC. It may provide experimental basis and treatment strategies for the diagnosis and treatment of oral tumors in the future.

PAN Jie1 WEI Yujing2 XIONG Yingqiong1 WU Lingfeng1 QU Xinhui1
Objective To evaluate the effect of current perception threshold (CPT) measurement on sensory quantification in patients with trigeminal neuralgia. Methods From January 2017 to October 2018, 26 patients with primary trigeminal neuralgia involving the mandibular branches were selected from the Inpatient Department of Neurology or Outpatient Department of Jiangxi Provincial People′s Hospital. All patients were routinely treated with nutritive nerve drugs. The CPT and the simplified McGill pain questionnaire (SF-MPQ) were measured before, 7 and 14 days after treatment, and the CPT and SF-MPQ pain score were compared to evaluate the application value of CPT in the sensory function of patients with trigeminal neuralgia before and after treatment. Results Before treatment, when stimulated by 5 and 250 Hz, CPT on the affected side was higher than that on the healthy side, with statistically significant differences (all P < 0.05); while when stimulated by 2000 Hz, CPT on both sides showed no statistically significant difference (P > 0.05). CPT at 7 and 14 days after treatment on the affected side decreased under 5 and 250 Hz stimulation compared with before treatment, and the differences were statistically significant (all P < 0.05), while CPT on the affected side at 7 and 14 days after treatment under 2000 Hz stimulation was not statistically significant compared with that before treatment (P > 0.05). The pain score of SF-MPQ at 7 and 14 days after treatment was lower than that before treatment, and the differences were statistically significant (all P < 0.05). Pearson correlation analysis showed that SF-MPQ pain score at 7 and 14 days after treatment was positively correlated with CPT under 5 Hz stimulation of the affected mandibular branches (r = 0.656, 0.418, 0.697, P < 0.05). Conclusion CPT can quantitatively detect the sensory function of patients with trigeminal neuralgia before and after treatment, and objectively evaluate the severity of the condition before and after treatment and the therapeutic effect.

WANG Tong1 JIA Huijun2 DONG Bo3 YANG Feng1 YUAN Puwei1 KANG Wulin3 LI Xiaowei1 LIU Deyu3
Aneurysmal bone cyst is a kind of swelling, bleeding and multilocular cyst. It is a benign single bone tumor with local invasion. Early clinical manifestations are not specific, patients often see the doctor for pain. The author reviews the literature and find that there were rare reports of aneurysmal bone cysts in the calcaneus in the past 10 years. Recently, one case of left calcaneal aneurysmal bone cyst patients are treated with curettage of calcaneus disease plus iliac bone grafting. Through this case, the following conclusions are drawn: the incidence of calcaneal aneurysmal bone cyst is low and easy to be misdiagnosed clinically. Pathological examination is the main basis for its diagnosis, and imaging examination can provide a higher diagnostic basis before its diagnosis. Curettage with or without bone grafting is the main treatment at present, depending on the patient′s condition. This disease is easy to relapse after surgery, so regular follow-up after surgery is extremely important, which has great significance for the successful treatment of this disease.
