LI Haitao1 QU Bo2 YANG Shida2▲
Objective To investigate the effect of dietary fiber on inflammatory response after cerebral ischemia in rats. Methods Thirty-four adult male rats were divided into sham group (n = 10), ischemic group (n = 12), ischemic+dietary fiber group (n = 12) according to the principle of random distribution. Endothelin was injected into the brain of the ischemia group and ischemic+dietary fiber group to make the cerebral ischemia model, 4 rats died; while sham operation group was injected with isovolume normal saline, all the rats survived. Finally, 10 rats in sham operation group, 10 rats in ischemia group, and 10 rats in ischemia+dietary fiber group. Normal diet was added to the sham group and ischemia group, dietary fiber was added to the ischemia+dietary fiber group. The infarct volume was measured and the number of Iba-1/BrdU and GFAP/BrdU double staining positive cells in the infarct peripheral cortex of each group was observed by immunofluorescence staining. Results There was no significant difference in infarct volume between ischemia group and ischemia+dietary fiber group (P > 0.05). The number of Iba-1/BrdU double staining positive cells, GFAP/BrdU double staining positive cells in ischemia group were more than those in sham operation group, while the number of Iba-1/BrdU double staining positive cells, GFAP/BrdU double staining positive cells in ischemia+dietary fiber group were less than those in ischemia group, and the differences were all highly statistically significant (all P < 0.05). Conclusion Dietary fiber can inhibit the activation of new microglia and astrocytes around the infarct in the recovery period of cerebral infarction, and thus inhibit the inflammatory response after cerebral infarction.

Role of immunoglobulin E in atopic dermatitis
TAN Hanxu1,2 WANG Wenge1
Immunoglobulin E (IgE) plays an important role in the pathogenesis of many autoallergic diseases such as eczema. The study found that the IgE play a role mainly through its high affinity receptor FcεRⅠand low affinity receptors epsilon FcεRⅡ (CD23) in mast cells and basophilic cells, In addition, mast cells and basophilic cells can be activated by the galactosin-3 signaling pathway, eventually lead to the occurrence of autoimmune diseases. This paper reviews the recent literature and analyzes the role and possible pathogenesis of IgE in autoimmune diseases such as eczema, in order to provide guidance for future drug development and clinical work.

SONG Bofan1,2 Nuremanguli·Abudukeremu2 GAO Yanlin1 CHENG Wei1
Objective To study the relationship between platelet (PLT) to lymphocyte (LYM) ratio (PLR) and coronary plaque stability in patients with coronary heart disease (CHD). Methods Two hundred and ninety-two patients with CHD admitted to the Second People′s Hospital of Anhui Province (“our hospital” for short) from January 2016 to January 2019 were selected as CHD group. According to the characteristics of plaque, they were divided into vulnerable plaque group (155 cases) and stable plaque group (137 cases). One hundred and fifty volunteers who took physical examination in our hospital during the same period were selected as control group. Blood cell analysis, blood pressure, blood glucose, blood lipid, liver and kidney function between groups were measured. The risk factors of vulnerable plaque in CHD patients were analyzed by logistic regression, and the diagnostic value of each index was evaluated by ROC curve analysis. Results The body mass index (BMI), the percentage of hypertension and diabetes, C-reactive protein (CRP), serum creatinine (Scr), urea nitrogen (BUN), PLT and PLR in stable plaque group were higher than those in control group, and LYM was lower than that in control group, with statistically significant differences (P < 0.05). BMI, percentage of hypertension and diabetes, CRP, Scr, BUN, FIB and PLR in vulnerable plaque group were higher than those in stable plaque group and control group, triglycerides, LDL cholesterol, total cholesterol, alanine aminotransferase, leukocytes and PLT in vulnerable plaque group were higher than those in control group, LYM of vulnerable plaque group was lower than that of control group, with statistically significant differences (P < 0.05). Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that PLR (OR = 3.320, 95%CI: 1.622-6.795, P = 0.001), CRP (OR = 2.380, 95%CI: 1.292-4.384, P = 0.005), FIB (OR = 1.862, 95%CI: 1.117-3.105, P = 0.017) were independent risk factors for CHD plaque instability. The sensitivity and specificity of three methods in the diagnosis of CHD was 0.916 and 0.891 respectively. Conclusion PLR is significantly increased in CHD patients, which is an independent risk factor for the stability of coronary plaque. Attention to PLR can guide clinical diagnosis and treatment.

Introduction of professor Wang Xiaoying′s experience in the treatment of menopausal syndrome
ZHAO Mingyu1.2 LYU Bo3
This paper summarizes professor Wang Xiaoying′s academic thoughts on the treatment of menopausal syndrome by sorting out professor Wang Xiaoying′s relevant works, manuscripts, clinical medical cases and clinical teaching notes. Professor Wang Xiaoying thinks that the deficiency of liver and kidney is the basis of the disease, and the imbalance of Yin-Yang is the key to the disease; she also thinks that the hot sweating is not only the first symptom of the disease, but also the main symptom, and that menopausal syndrome should belong to the category of women′s Xue-Lao. Therefore, the treatment mainly includes nourishing liver and kidney, harmonizing Yin-Yang, nourishing blood and calming nerves, and combining disease differentiation with syndrome differentiation. Professor Wang Xiaoying is good at using Wujiadan prescription based on the ancient decoction of Youjiansan to treat the menopause syndrome.

ZHU Jiyang1 CHEN Hua1 XU Yanfang1 SHAO Jinhui2
Objective To investigate the effects of Berberine combined with Lapatinib on proliferation and apoptosis of MDA-MB-231 triple negative breast cancer cells. Methods MTT assay was used to detect the proliferation inhibition of single application for Berberine, Lapatinib and drug combination at different concentrations in MDA-MB-231 triple negative breast cancer cells. CompuSyn software was used to analyze the combined index CI of different dose groups and determine the best combined scheme. The cells were randomly divided into 4 groups: the blank control group, the Berberine group, the Lapatinib group and the drug combination group, and the optimal combination dose selected was used for drug intervention respectively. Flow cytometry was used to detect apoptosis in each group. Results Compared with the single drug, the combination of Berberine and Lapatinib inhibited the proliferation of MDA-MB-231 cells more significantly, and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). CompuSyn software analysis results showed that the CI value of each combined dose was < 1, indicating that the two drugs had synergistic inhibitory effect. The dose group with the lowest CI value was selected for subsequent experiments. Compared with the the blank control group, the total apoptosis rate of the Berberine group and the Lapatinib group increased, and the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05 or P < 0.01). Compared with the Berberine group and the Lapatinib group, the total apoptosis rate of the combined treatment group was increased, and the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion Berberine combined with Lapatinib can enhance the ability of the proliferation inhibition and induce apoptosis of MDA-MB-231 triple negative breast cancer cells.

Methods A total of 88 patients with PHC concurrent TACE in the First People′s Hospital of Ziyang, Sichuan Province from September 2016 to October 2018 were enrolled and divided into the improvement group (39 cases) and the deterioration group (49 cases) according to the treatment effect of TACE. The changes of GP73, alpha-fetal protein (AFP) and liver function before and after TACE were recorded. Results The serum GP73 level in the improvement group decreased 1 week after operation compared with that before operation, with statistically significant difference (P < 0.05). Compared with those before and 1 week after the operation, serum GP73 level in the improvement group decreased 1 month after operation, with statistically significant difference (P < 0.05). Compared with that before operation, serum GP73 level in the deterioration group increased 1 week and 1 month after operation, and 1 month after operation was higher than 1 week after operation, with statistically significant differences (all P < 0.05). Serum GP73 level in the improvement group was lower than that in the deterioration group 1 week and 1 month after operation, and the differences were statistically significant (all P < 0.05). One week before TACE, serum GP73 level was not correlated with AFP (rs = 0.056, 0.192, P = 0.613,0.077). Serum GP73 was positively correlated with total bilirubin (rs = 0.295, P = 0.006), and positively correlated with alanine transaminase (rs = 0.301, P = 0.005). Conclusion GP73 may be an effective indicator for evaluating the efficacy of TACE in PHC patients before and after operation, and can reflect the liver function of PHC patients. Effectiveness of GP73 in efficacy monitoring in patients with AFP negative needs to be further expanded to draw conclusions.

Discussion on the idea of professor Cui Shusheng′s massage treatment for internal diseases from “eight methods of abdomen”
SUN Bo1 CUI Shusheng2 JIANG Mengjia2 ZHANG Li′na3 GENG Junlong4
“Eight methods of abdomen” is a commonly used combination of clinical techniques of professor Cui Shusheng, including eight methods of “scraping rib arch”, “kai si men”, “dian san wan”, “tonifying Shénquē”, “penetrating Tiānshū”, “activating Qìhǎi”, “lifting and shaking the abdomen” and “gently rubbing the abdomen”. This paper sums up the specific operation steps of the combination of this technique, and sums up the “zhi zhen dian xue, yi xin tong shou” of professor Cui Shusheng′s operation techniques. In clinical treatment, “the method follows the syndrome, and the technique follows the method”. In the diagnosis and treatment process, “the whole syndrome differentiation and treatment should be based on the principle of conformity”. And then sums up the academic thought of “holistic differentiation and treatment” of Cui Shusheng′s massage diagnosis and treatment for internal diseases. Through the manipulation of massage, all parts of the human body can move smoothly and achieve dynamic balance between material and function, part and whole, acupoints and meridians.

Liu Jianqiu′s treatment experience on chronic bronchitis alleviation of syndrome of intermingling of phlegm and static blood with point-application of Fuxue Huatan Quyu Ointment
WANG Xuehui1 GAO Shen2 ZHANG Yingying3
This article introduces professor Liu Jianqiu′s clinical experience on chronic bronchitis alleviation of syndrome of intermingling of phlegm and static blood with point-application of Fuxue Huatan Quyu Ointment. Professor Liu holds that the pathogenesis of the disease are yang deficiency, lung-liver disharmony and phlegm and blood stasis. It is suggested that the disease can be eliminated by warming yang at the first time, and relieving the stagnation of liver, promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis. Although chronic bronchitis alleviation often manifest as “excessive syndrome”, the disease actually caused by deficiency in origin and excess in superficiality. The syndrome of intermingling of phlegm and static blood is infected by yang deficiency and lung-liver disharmony. Therefore, in terms of treatment, we should give consideration to both the specimen and the internal and external treatment. Fuxue Huatan Quyu Ointment is professor Liu′s application of traditional Chinese medicine, combined with many years of clinical experience and the main points of treatment of the disease. After many years of clinical application and treatment, it has achieved good results, so it is worth further discussion and research.

Zhu Shengliang′s experience in the treatment of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug-related gastric diseases
ZHENG Xinchun1 ZHU Shengliang2
Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug-related gastric diseases are due to the damage of gastric mucosa caused by the use of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. The incidence rate is higher and higher, and Western medicine lacks good treatment methods at present. Through long-term clinical practice, professor Zhu Shengliang has accumulated rich experience in treating stomach diseases related to non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. Professor Zhu believes that the use of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs is the cause of this disease. The pathogenesis of the diseases are based on weakness of spleen and stomach. Dampness and heat, qi stagnation and blood stasis are important conditions. The syndrome is asthenia in origin and sthenia in superficiality. The treatment is to strengthen the spleen and nourish the stomach, clear the dampness and heat, promote blood circulation and remove blood stasis, regulate the activity of qi, coordinate the rise and fall of qi. Follow this guideline to choose the right Chinese medicine. The advantages of traditional Chinese medicine have been brought into full play and a good clinical effect has been achieved. This paper will introduce professor Zhu Shengliang′s clinical experience in the treatment of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug related gastric diseases, also introduce a case.
