DOI: 10.20047/j.issn1673-7210.2023.23.01
Objective To investigate the therapeutic effect of qi and blood combined treatment acupuncture on inflammatory injury in rats with cervical spondylotic radiculopathy (CSR) and the correlation between toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4)/nuclear factor κB (NF-κB) signaling pathway. Methods Twenty-four 5-7-week-old healthy male SD rats (180-220 g) were divided into blank group, sham surgery group, model group, and “qi and blood combined treatment” acupuncture group by random number table method, with six rats in each group. The CSR model was prepared by spinal canal insertion method. On the 3rd day after the model was made, the “qi and blood combined treatment” acupuncture group was treated by acupuncture at ji?觃jǐ points of cervical 5 and cervical 7, zus?觃nlǐ and géshù, and the cervical ji?觃jǐ points were treated by electro-acupuncture with density wave at 2 Hz/50 Hz, with an intensity of 1.5 mA for 30 min/d for 14 days. The restrain of blank group, sham operation group, and model group were the same as those of “qi and blood combined treatment” acupuncture group, no treatment. The restrain of the gait score of all groups was compared, the ultrastructure of the spinal cord was observed by electron microscope, the contents of interleukin(IL)-1β and prostaglandin E2(PGE2) in the spinal cord were detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay, and the expression of TLR4, NF-κB, and cyclocycesterase 2 (COX-2) in the spinal cord were detected by Western blot. Results After treatment, there was no significant difference in gait score between sham operation group and blank group (P>0.05), the gait score of model group was higher than that of blank group (P<0.01), and the gait score of “qi and blood combined treatment” acupuncture group was lower than that of model group (P<0.05). The appearance of myelin sheath of rats in blank group and sham operation group was regular and the structure was complete. In the model group, the myelin structure was irregular, some myelin was broken and disappeared, the thickness was different, the lamellar structure was loose, twisted and broken, and the mitochondria was swollen or even partially dissolved and disappeared; in the “qi and blood combined treatment” acupuncture group, the myelin lamella was less loose, the structure was more compact, and clear mitochondria could be seen. There was no significant difference in IL-1β and PGE2 protein expression between sham operation group and blank group (P>0.05). The expression levels of IL-1β and PGE2 in model group were higher than those in blank group (P<0.01). The expression levels of IL-1β and PGE2 protein in “qi and blood combined treatment” acupuncture group were lower than those in model group (P<0.01). There was no significant difference in the relative expressions of TLR4, NF-κB, and COX-2 protein between the sham operation group and the blank group (P>0.05). The expressions of TLR4, NF-κB, and COX-2 in model group were higher than those in blank group (P<0.01). The protein expressions of TLR4, NF-κB, and COX-2 in “qi and blood combined treatment” acupuncture group were lower than those in model group (P<0.01). Conclusion The “qi and blood combined treatment” acupuncture method can improve the limited activity of CSR rats, probably by blocking changes in the TLR4/NF-κB signaling pathway, reducing the expression of IL-1β and PGE2, and reducing inflammatory damage.

DOI: 10.20047/j.issn1673-7210.2023.23.03
Objective To detect detection of small nucleolar RNA host gene 17 (SNHG17) How to regulate malignant phenotype of glioblastoma (GBM) by miR-23b-3p and zinc finger structure homeobox protein 1 (ZHX1). Methods Surgical specimens of 33 patients diagnosed with GBM in the Department of Neurosurgery, the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Brain Hospital from January 2020 to October 2022 were selected. The expression of SNHG17, miR-23b-3p, and ZHX1 in GBM samples and normal tissues adjacent to tumor were detected by real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR). Pearson correlation analysis was used to evaluate the correlation between SNHG17, miR-23b-3p, and ZHX1. GBM cell line A172 and DK-MG were used as cell models, the cells were divided into si-NC group (transfected with blank inhibitor), si-SNHG17 group (transfected with si-SNHG17#2), and si-SNHG17+miR-23b-3p inhibitor group (transfected with si-SNHG17#2 and miR-23b-3p inhibitor). The proliferation capacity of GBM cells was detected by CCK-8 and EdU methods, while the migration and invasion of GBM cells were evaluated by Transwell assay. The qRT-PCR and Western blot were used to detect the mutual regulation of SNHG17 and miR-23b-3p, and their regulatory effect on ZHX1. Results The expression levels of SNHG17 and ZHX1 in GBM tissue were higher than those in normal tissue adjacent to cancer, while the expression level of miR-23b-3p was lower than that in normal tissue adjacent to cancer, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). In GBM tissues, SNHG17 expression was negatively correlated with the expression of miR-23b-3p (r=-0.711, P<0.05), but positively correlated with the expression of ZHX1 (r=0.648, P<0.05); the expression of miR-23b-3p and ZHX1 was negatively correlated (r=-0.637, P<0.05). The expression of miR-23b-3p in the si-SNHG17 group was higher than that in the si-NC group, and the proliferation, migration, and invasion ability of GBM cells and the expression level of ZHX1 were lower than those in the si-NC group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05); however, the expression of miR-23b-3p in the si-SNHG17 + miR-23b-3p inhibitor group was lower than that in the si-SNHG17 group, and the proliferation, migration, invasion, and expression level of ZHX1 in GBM cells were higher than those in the si-SNHG17 group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion SNHG17 can promote the proliferation, migration and invasion of GBM cells by regulating miR-23b-3p/ZHX1 axis. This suggests that SNHG17 may be a potential therapeutic target for GBM.

The drinking water of SCFA group and GLPG group contained 25.9 mmol/L sodium acetate, 40.0 mmol/L sodium propionate and 67.5 mmol/L sodium butyrate, and the drinking water of S group and IRI group contained 133.4 mmol/L sodium chloride. After four weeks, IRI model was established in IRI group, SCFA group, and GLPG group, sham operation was performed in S group. In the GLPG group, 2 mg/kg GLPG0974 was intraperitoneally injected immediately after reperfusion and at the 1st to 6th day of reperfusion, and corresponding water was continuously supplied during the reperfusion period. Hind limb behavioral scores were performed at 1, 3, 5, and 7 days after reperfusion. Blood-spinal cord barrier (BSCB) permeability, spinal neuron survival rate, acetic acid, propionic acid, and butyric acid concentrations in stool and cerebrospinal fluid were measured at 7 d after reperfusion. The levels of spinal cord microglia differentiation cluster (CD) 86, CD206, and spinal tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α), interleukin(IL)-1β, IL-4, phosphorylated nuclear factor κB p65 (p-NF-κB p65), and phosphorylated signal transduction and transcriptional activator 3 (p-STAT3) were detected. Results Compared with S group, the behavioral score of the posterior limb, neuronal survival rate, acetic acid, propionic acid, and butyric acid concentrations in stool and cerebrospinal fluid were decreased in IRI group, while BSCB permeability, CD86, TNF-α, IL-1β, and P-NF-κB p65 were increased (P<0.01). Compared with IRI group, the behavioral score, neuronal survival rate, acetic acid, propionic acid, and butyric acid concentrations in stool and cerebrospinal fluid in SCFA group were increased, BSCB permeability, CD86, TNF-α, IL-1β, and P-NF-κB p65 were decreased, while CD206, IL-4, and P-Stat3 were increased (P<0.01). Compared with SCFA group, there was no significant difference in the concentrations of acetic acid, propionic acid, and butyric acid in stool and cerebrospinal fluid of GLPG group (P>0.05). Conclusion SCFA can promote M1-type to M2-type polarization of microglia in rat spinal cord during IRI and reduce inflammation.

DOI: 10.20047/j.issn1673-7210.2023.23.05
Objective To construct a disease prognosis model of endometrial carcinoma (EC) by using long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) associated with ferroptosis, and to provide therapeutic targets for EC. Methods EC data was downloaded from TCGA and ferroptosis gene was downloaded from FerrDb database. Through R software, disease data and ferroptosis genes were intersected to obtain differentially expressed genes (DEGs), and GO and KEGG enrichment analysis of DEGs was performed. The lncRNA obtained according to Pearson correlation analysis. The model was constructed by Lasso-Cox, and the lncRNA used to construct the model was screened. The risk score was calculated, and the high and low risk groups were distinguished by the median value. Kaplan-Meier survival curve, receiver operating characteristics (ROC) and decision curve analysis (DCA) curves were used to evaluate the risk score of the model and clinical characteristics, and to predict the survival effect. TIMER, CIBERSORT, and other algorithms were used to analyze the immune cells and functions in high and low risk groups. R software was used to analyze the immune cell, function, checkpoint, and mRNA differential expression of m6A between the two groups of lncRNA. Results There were 248 ferroptosis genes, 1 616 lncRNA associated with ferroptosis and 80 DEGs. The results of GO analysis showed that DEGs was mainly involved in oxidative stress, regulating the basement membrane and organic anion transmembrane transporter activity. KEEG results showed that DEGs was mainly involved in ferroptosis and glutathione metabolic pathway, and so on. Univariate Cox regression analysis initially screened 45 lncRNA associated with ferroptosis. After Lasso-Cox optimization, 14 lncRNA were finally identified for the construction of prognosis models. Kaplan-Meier survival curve showed that the survival status of low risk group was better than that of high risk group (P<0.01). ROC and DCA curves showed that risk score predicted survival better than traditional clinical characteristics; the AUC values of the first, second and third years were 0.696, 0.715, and 0.747, respectively. Univariate and multivariate Cox regression analysis results showed that model risk score was an independent influencing factor of predictor of survival in EC patients (HR [95%CI] = 1.105 [1.081-1.129]; HR [95%CI] = 1.108 [1.081-1.135], all P<0.01). The heat map of immune cell distribution in high and low risk groups showed that there were differences in immune cell levels between the two groups (P<0.05). The results of immune function showed that there were statistically significant differences in APC co-stimulation, CCR, and others between high and low risk groups (P<0.05). The results of immune checkpoint showed that there were statistically significant differences in PDCD-1, CTLA-4, and others between high and low risk groups (P<0.05). The results of m6A methylation showed that there statistically significant differences in YTHDF1, FTO and others between high and low risk groups (P<0.05). Conclusion The 14 iron-death associated lncRNA may play an important role in tumor immunity in EC, providing potential targets for treatment of the disease.

Radiation-induced lung fibrosis (RILF) is the major clinical complication of radiotherapy for thoracic tumor, seriously endangering the lives of patients. A large amount of evidence shows that the oxidative stress induced by ionizing radiation is closely related to the occurrence and development of RILF. Reactive oxygen species (ROS), the initial product of oxidative stress, runs throughout the pathogenesis of RILF, and has a direct promoting effect on RILF. This paper summarizes the important role of ROS in the pathological progression of RILF, including DNA damage, inflammation, autophagy, epithelio-mesymal transformation, and extracellular matrix deposition, and summarizes the research progress of traditional Chinese medicine and its active ingredients in the treatment of RILF through antioxidant mechanisms, aiming to provide ideas and theoretical support for the prevention, and treatment of RILF by traditional Chinese medicine.

43 Research progress of targeted costimulatory receptor pathway to enhance tumor immunotherapy
WANG Huijian BAI Yu
DOI: 10.20047/j.issn1673-7210.2023.23.08
The discovery and clinical application of different types of immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIS) have revolutionized the treatment of cancer. This approach improved the prognosis of patients with various types of advanced tumors; however, the efficacy of anti-cytotoxic T lymphocyt-associated protein 4, programmed death receptor 1, and programmed death ligand 1 in patients with different tumor types varies greatly. Therefore, more and more studies are devoted to exploring more ICIS. This article discusses the transformation potential and clinical development of drugs targeting costimulatory T cell receptors, and outlines ongoing clinical trials of novel ICIS, including costimulatory receptor associated proteins and agonists that induce T cell costimulatory receptors. Further efforts are needed to optimize the timing of combined ICIS therapy and to tailor immunotherapy to patient and tumor specificity, as well as to advance the development of immunosurveillance techniques.

47 Research progress of enterovirus infection in neonatal central nervous system
JIN Fang1 XIA Shiwen2
DOI: 10.20047/j.issn1673-7210.2023.23.09
Enterovirus infection in neonatal central nervous system can be manifested as viral meningitis, encephalitis, or acute flaccid myelitis, and may be complicated by brain damage such as periventricular leukomalacia. In severe cases, it may lead to sequelae such as cognitive impairment and cerebral palsy. Enteroviruses bind to specific receptors under the action of host factors, and destroy the virus clearance and inflammatory response of the body’s immune system through immune escape mechanism. Reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction is the gold standard for the diagnosis of enterovirus infection in the central nervous system, and clinical treatment mainly focuses on symptomatic support. This article reviews the epidemiology of enterovirus and the pathogenesis, clinical manifestations, early recognition, clinical diagnosis, prevention, treatment of enterovirus infection inneonatal central nervous system, in order to improve the understanding of the disease in the clinic.

52 Research progress of ovarian cancer related susceptibility genes
WU Hui HUANG Shouguo
DOI: 10.20047/j.issn1673-7210.2023.23.10
At present, the treatment of ovarian cancer is mainly limited to surgery and chemotherapy. Due to the lack of early detection means and low drug sensitivity, the recurrence rate and death rate are still high for many years. Therefore, the development of new treatment strategies is critical. With the wide application of gene detection technology in ovarian cancer patients, studies have found that the abnormal changes of myeloid cell oncogenes, telangiectasia ataxia mutant genes, transfer-related genes 1, and lactoserine protease inhibitor genes can play an important role in the occurrence, development and drug resistance of ovarian cancer as cancer promotion or tumor suppressor genes. This article reviews the mechanism of action of the above susceptibility genes in ovarian cancer, and provides some theoretical basis for the application of gene editing and gene expression regulation technology in ovarian cancer in the future.

DOI: 10.20047/j.issn1673-7210.2023.23.13
Objective To explore the causal relationship and influencing mechanism between loneliness and problematic mobile phone use, and to provide basis for effective intervention of problematic mobile phone use in college students. Methods  In a longitudinal design, a follow-up survey was conducted on 411 college students using the mobile phone addiction questionnaire, loneliness scale, college students’ positive-negative rumination thinking questionnaire, and avoidance motivation subscale. The first measurement time (T1) was December 2021, and the second measurement time (T2) was March 2022. Results The usage rates of problematic mobile phones among T1 and T2 students were 68.6% and 70.1%, respectively. T1 loneliness could significantly predict T2 problematic mobile phone use, while T1 problematic mobile phone use had no significant predictive effect on T2 loneliness. Loneliness could predict subsequent problematic mobile phone use through negative rumination and avoidance motivation, respectively, or through the chain mediation of negative rumination and avoidance motivation. Positive rumination significantly modulated the influence path of loneliness on avoidance motivation (P<0.05). Conclusion Intervention measures targeting loneliness, negative rumination, and mobile phone use motivation may be an effective way to reduce the occurrence of problematic mobile phone use behaviors among college students.

DOI: 10.20047/j.issn1673-7210.2023.23.14
Objective To explore the effects of cognitive impairment on self-esteem and social function in patients with paranoid schizophrenia. Methods A total of 82 patients with paranoid schizophrenia treated in the Department Psychiatric of the Fuyang Third People’s Hospital, Anhui Province (hereinafter referred to as “our hospital”) from February 2020 to January 2022 were selected as the case group, and 110 healthy physical examinations in the Psychiatric Department of our hospital during the same period were selected as the healthy control group. The general information questionnaire, the MATRICS consensus cognitive battery (MCCB), the state self-esteem scale (SSES), and the personal and social performance scale (PSP) were used to investigate the patients. Pearson coefficient was used to analyze the relationship among cognitive function, self-esteem level and social function. The structural equation was constructed with AMOS 22.0, and the mediating effect was verified by Bootstrap with non-parametric percentage of deviation correction. Results The patients had cognitive impairment (56.17±7.24) points, self-esteem (54.54±5.62) points, and social function (70.13±3.40) points. The results of Pearson analysis showed that cognitive impairment was negatively correlated with self-esteem and social function (r=-0.986, -0.977, P<0.05), and self-esteem was positively correlated with social function (r=0.982, P<0.05). The Bootstrap intermediary effect validation results showed that the self-esteem to predict social function had a direct effect, direct effect was 67.00% (95%CI:0.254, 0.542), and cognitive function defects in the level of self-esteem and social functions played a role of partial mediation, effect value of 33.00% (95%CI:0.017, 0.812). Conclusion The level of self-esteem can directly affect the social function of patients with paranoid schizophrenia, and can also indirectly affect the social function of patients by regulating cognitive function. Nurses should improve patients’ self-esteem from the perspective of positive psychology, and can also use cognitive function as a starting point to improve patients’ social function and help patients return to society as soon as possible.

DOI: 10.20047/j.issn1673-7210.2023.23.20
Objective To summarize and analyzes the clinical features and genetic variants of two children in a family with developmental and epileptic encephalopathy (DEE) induced by phosphatidylinositol glycan anchor biosynthesis, class S (PIGS) gene mutation. Methods Clinical data and family history of two patients visited the outpatient of the Affiliated Hospital of Guangdong Medical University due to “recurrent seizures” from 2021 to 2022 were collected, peripheral blood samples of patients and family members were extracted. Whole exome sequencing and Sanger sequencing were carried out to detect the potential mutation. Results Case 1, female, sister (witness), 8 years old, case 2 female, sister, 6 years old, all of them were infantile onset, presented with frequent generalized tonic-clonic seizures, accompanied by severe developmental lag, physical examination found special facial features (arched eyebrow, almond eyes, wide eye distance, low nose bridge, long middle, wide tongue) and hypotonia, abnormal video EEG and skull magnetic resonance imaging results. All genetic tests indicated homozygous mutation of PIGS gene c.1141_1164dup (P.SP381_val388dUP), and Sanger verified that the parents were heterozygous mutations. Combined with the clinical phenotype and genetic detection results, 2 cases were confirmed as DEE-95 (PIGS gene mutation). Convulsions improved after treatment with vitamin B6 and antiepileptic combination. Conclusion Homozygous mutation of PIGS gene is the cause of DEE95. Whole exome sequencing is of great value for the diagnosis of DEE-95. Most of the patients need combination therapy, which is effective with the addition of vitamin B6.

DOI: 10.20047/j.issn1673-7210.2023.23.29
Objective To observe the effect of upper limb compression therapy on the prevention of peripherally inserted central venous catheter (PICC) related thrombosis in patients with inability to exercise. Methods A total of 84 patients with inability to exercise underwent upper limb PICC catheterization and catheter maintenance in the Second Affiliated Hospital of Xi’an Jiaotong University from January 2020 to August 2022 were selected. They were divided into control group and compression group by random number table method, with 42 cases in each group. The control group was given passive activity intervention, and the compression group was given air pressure wave intervention. Color Doppler ultrasound was used to monitor the blood flow velocity of axillary vein and subclavian vein before intervention and 30 minutes after intervention in the two groups. The levels of fibrinogen, prothrombin time, and D-dimer were measured before catheterization and two weeks after catheterization. The incidence of PICC related thrombosis in the two groups was recorded. Results After 30 minutes of intervention, the blood flow velocity of axillary vein and subclavian vein in the two groups were faster than those before intervention, and that in the compression group was faster than that in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). After two weeks of catheterization, the levels of fibrinogen, prothrombin time, and D-dimer in the control group were higher than those before catheterization, and higher than those in the compression group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). There were no significant differences in fibrinogen, prothrombin time, and D-dimer before and two weeks after catheterization in the compression group (P>0.05). During the observation period of two weeks, the incidence of PICC related thrombosis in the compression group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Air pressure wave therapeutic instrument can effectively prevent upper extremity PICC related thrombosis in patients without exercise ability by increasing the venous blood flow velocity on the catheterization side.

144 Discussion on yin and yang in traditional Chinese medicine from “mass energy conversion”
YAN Xinyu WANG Junge WANG Man ZHAO Jingyi HAN Jinshuai
DOI: 10.20047/j.issn1673-7210.2023.23.31
Yin and yang are the ancient people’s high generalization and application of the “mass energy conversion” in nature. It is the most basic concept of traditional Chinese medicine theory. Different schools of traditional Chinese medicine have different theories. Taking the law of human life movement as the research object, this paper expounds the origin of yin and yang from the mass expression, energy expression and relative equilibrium state of “mass energy conversion” in the matter theory, the existing state and metabolic movement law of yin and yang in the process of human life “mass energy conversion”, as well as the specific connotation of yin and yang in human physiology, pathology, anatomy, diagnostics, and pharmacology. It is clarified in Shanghan Lun that discriminating fluid infusion, distribution, separation, and reunion are the specific application of the theory of “mass energy conversion” in clinical practice. Fluid is unitary, the root is consistent and interdependent and mutually promoting. The mass expression state of fluid is the basis of “mass energy conversion”, and the energy expression state of fluid is the function of “mass energy conversion”. “Six diseases syndrome differentiation system” in Shanghan Lun explores the physiological and pathological laws of birth, old age, illness, and death of human beings with the quality expression state of fluid expression state, energy expression state and “mass energy conversion” theory, and makes clear the pathogenesis, law of disease transmission, principle and method of treatment, and principle-method-recipe-medicines of the six diseases. Therefore, the theory of “mass energy conversion” is the basis of the classification of yin and yang in traditional Chinese medicine theory.

148 Professor Wang Yuxi’s experience in treating palmoplantar pustulosis from the perspective of toxin and stasis
YUAN Rui1 XU Ke2 YAN Jingdong1 CHEN Guoming3 YANG Suqing1 SUN Qichao4
DOI: 10.20047/j.issn1673-7210.2023.23.32
Palmoplantar pustulosis is a special type of psoriasis. It is a difficult skin disease with long course and repeated attack. It is a key and difficult point in clinical treatment. Physicians over the ages believe that the etiology and pathogenesis of palmoplantar pustulosis are wind cold, dampness, blood stasis, etc. Professor Wang Yuxi’s clinical treatment of palmoplantar pustulosis starts with dampness, toxin, and stasis. He believes that the imbalance of yin and yang, as well as the imbalance of qi and blood, are the basis for the onset of the disease. The damaged functions of zang-fu viscera are mainly caused by pathogenic factors such as wind, cold, dampness, stasis, and toxin. The overall treatment principle is to strengthen the spleen and remove dampness, clear heat and detoxify, and promote blood circulation and disperse stasis. He has developed his own empirical formula, Wugong Baidu Yin, as the basic formula for treating this disease. In the later stages of the disease, attention should be paid to cultivate and replenish vital qi, and reinforcement and elimination in combination. Professor Wang Yuxi attaches great importance to the application of external treatment methods in treatment. He believes that external preparations can directly reach the disease site and achieve rapid effects. At the same time, the use of insect and rattan drugs is effective, reaching the meridians and coordinating with spleen and stomach regulating drugs to balance yin and yang, resulting in significant clinical efficacy.

152 Discussion on the integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine in the treatment of cancer related malnutrition based on the principle of “reinforce insufficiency and reduce excessiveness”
XIE Hongting1 DUAN Kexin2 LONG Sidan1 XUE Peng1 ZHU Shijie1
DOI: 10.20047/j.issn1673-7210.2023.23.33
Cancer related malnutrion is a common complication in patients with malignant tumors, characterized by emaciation, fatigue, and anorexia. Western medicine mostly explains its pathogenesis from negative energy balance, nutrient metabolism disorder, and dysregulation of intestinal flora. Traditional Chinese medicine believes that malignant tumors are formed by the cementation of phlegm, stasis, and cancer toxin. Prolonged accumulation of these substances can damage the vital qi and cause the vital qi deficiency failing to control. These substances then flow into the meridians and blood vessels, blocking the spread of essence and blood, leading to the loss of nourishment in the organs and resulting in a state of deficiency and barrenness. This is due to the deficiency caused by excess. Therefore, treatment should be based on the fundamental principle of “reinforce insufficiency and reduce excessiveness”, using the methods of “tonifying essence, building middle” and “resolving phlegm, removing blood stasis, and detoxifying”, integrating the advantages of traditional Chinese and western medicine to improve the nutritional status of malignant tumor patients. This aims to provide ideas and methods for the clinical treatment of tumor related malnutrition.

156 Discussion on the application of rattan drugs in diabetic nephropathy based on “collateral disease theory”
WEN Yaxuan LIU Hongfang JIANG Wei DONG Zhaoxi
DOI: 10.20047/j.issn1673-7210.2023.23.34
“Collateral disease theory” is an important part of traditional Chinese medicine. According to the characteristics of structure, physiological function, pathological changes, and course of disease, diabetic nephropathy is a typical category of collateral disease. Rattan drugs are criss-cross in shape, and extend and intertwine in growth, and similar to the structure characteristics and distribution mode of body collateral. Rattan drugs are widely used in the treatment of collateral disease because they are good at penetrating into the collaterals and can be used to induce the diseases. The clinical application of rattan drugs in diabetic nephropathy is mainly divided into five aspects: clearing heat and detoxifying for removing obstruction in collaterals, dispelling wind and predominant dampness for removing obstruction in collaterals, calming the liver to stop the wind for removing obstruction in collaterals, activating blood circulation to dissipate blood stasis for removing obstruction in collaterals, tonifying deficiency and nourishing blood for nourishing collaterals. Clinical use of rattan drugs in the treatment of diabetic nephropathy should pay attention to reasonable compatibility, grasp the dosage.

Treatise on Cold Pathogenic and Miscellaneous Diseases was written by Zhang Zhongjing, which is one of the traditional medical works. It is named Treatise on Cold Pathogenic Diseases and Synopsis of Golden Chambe respectively which was classified by later generation. Ancient and modern doctors have followed traditional medical books for syndrome differentiation and treatment, while also paying more attention to the parameter-effect relationship between prescriptions and medicines. There are about 42 classic formulas containing Ginseng Radix Et Rhizoma in Zhongjing’s classical prescriptions. This article attempts to analyze the parameter-effect relationship of Ginseng Radix Et Rhizoma in the classical prescriptions and summarize four levels of parameter-effect. Among them, four to six liang of Ginseng Radix Et Rhizoma are mainly used for warming the middle and expelling water evil. Three liang of Ginseng Radix Et Rhizoma is mainly used for regulating the middle and preventing or arresting vomiting, tonifying the middle and promoting fluid production. Two liang of Ginseng Radix Et Rhizoma helping sweet and warm herbs restore pulse and nourish body fluids, descend the adverse flow of qi and harmonize the stomach. Ginseng Radix Et Rhizoma below two liang is mainly used for strengthening the vital qi. This article will compare the dosage and efficacy of Ginseng Radix Et Rhizoma in Zhongjing’s classical prescriptions, explore Zhongjing’s medication thinking in clinical practice, and further expand parameter-effect theory of Zhongjing’s classical prescriptions for reference by colleagues.

164 Discussion on the pathogenesis and treatment experience of endometriosis based on the theory of “unsmooth blood circulation results in water retention”
ZHONG Ying1 ZHANG Yaping2▲
DOI: 10.20047/j.issn1673-7210.2023.23.36
Endometriosis is often regarded as a difficult gynecological disease, but its diagnosis and treatment should be based on the whole. Traditional Chinese medicine theory has guiding significance for the diagnosis and treatment of endometriosis. The basic pathogenesis of endometriosis with stasis blocking uterus is closely related to unsmooth blood circulation. Based on the theory of “unsmooth blood circulation results in water retention” in traditional Chinese medicine, the treatment of endometriosis is based on syndrome differentiation and the combination of disease and syndrome, and the pathogenic characteristics of endometriosis are discussed from the perspective of “blood and water”. At the same time, around the principle of “blood and water treatment together”, analyze the theoretical basis of Zhongjing’s classical prescriptions of blood and water treatment together in the application of endometriosis, and expand new ideas for traditional Chinese medicine to treat endometriosis.
