38 Research progress on the mechanism of traditional Chinese medicine treatment of depression complicated with coronary heart disease based on cell pyroptosis
LI Lanshi1 WANG Ying2
Depression and coronary heart disease are both chronic inflammatory diseases, the harms of inflammatory responses in the occurrence and development of the two diseases have been recognized. It was found that the rates of incidence and mortality of coronary heart in depression patients were increasing day by day. Recently studies had found that depression caused a variety of individual brain cells pyroptosis especially the microglia pyroptosis, it could promote the highly pro-inflammatory programmed cell death mode. And the cascaded inflammation responces caused by pyroptosis in the brain are an important molecular mechanism that may induces vascular endothelial injurying, atherosclerosis, and ultimately coronary heart disease for depressed patients. At the same time, a large number of cells, animals, and clinical experiments had proved that a variety of traditional Chinese medicine could treat depression combined with coronary heart disease by regulating the expression of various proteins about pyroptosis, and the curative effect was significant. This paper intends to sort out the specific mechanism of traditional Chinese medicine action from the perspective of cell pyroptosis, hoping to provide new ideas and possibilities for clinical prevention and treatment of depression complicated with coronary heart disease.

CHEN Fei XU Shuizhu PAN Lingling SHI Wei SHAO Mingbing▲
Objective To understand the current situation of patent application and patent knowledge of medical staff in the Affiliated Hospital of Nantong University (hereinafter referred to as “our hospital”), to provide reference for the formulation and adjustment of patent management policies in our hospital in the future. Methods In May 2020, the convenience sampling method was adopted, and a questionnaire was designed on the basis of reading and references to investigate and analyze the current situation of patent application and the mastery of relevant patent knowledge of medical staff in our hospital. Results A total of 410 questionnaires were distributed in this study, and 408 valid questionnaires were recovered, with an effective recovery rate of 99.5%. In this survey, only 125 medical staff had applied for patents, accounted for 30.6%. The main reason for not applying was that there were no projects to apply for patents. Among them, 105 patents had been authorized, mainly utility model patents, 81 patents were in maintenance, four patents had lost the protection of the patent rights and terminated, and only one patent had been transferred. Only 69 people (16.9%) had some understanding of the basic knowledge of patents and application procedures, and 339 people (83.1%) had no basic knowledge. There were statistically significant differences in the proportion of medical staff in different professional and technical fields and professional titles (P < 0.05). Comparing the proportions of medical staff with different professional and technical fields, educational backgrounds, professional titles, and whether they had applied for patents before on the basic knowledge of patents and the degree of understanding of the application procedures, and the differences were highly statistically significant (P < 0.01). The multivariate logistic regression results showed that senior professional titles (OR[95%CI]: 5.19[2.36-11.42]), medical staff who knew the protection period of patent application (OR[95%CI]: 9.92[4.75-20.70]), utility model and design patent right answered correctly (OR[95%CI]: 2.36[1.33-4.20]) were the influencing factors of patent application (P < 0.05). Conclusion The patent application rate of medical staff in our hospital is low, and the patent knowledge is insufficient. Hospitals should attach importance to patent management, explore and cultivate high-value patents, strengthen the training and popularization of patent knowledge, improve the incentive mechanism, mobilize the enthusiasm for patent creation and application, and use the concept of total quality management to improve the quality and conversion rate of patent applications.

114 Professor Gao Zhan’s experience in the treatment of urinary incontinence after radical prostatectomy
WANG Zhong1 WANG Jianwen2 SHAO Kuiqing1 LI Qi1 DING Jiasen1 CHEN Haote1 GAO Zhan1
This paper summarizes Professor Gao Zhan’s experience in the treatment of urinary incontinence after radical prostatectomy. Professor Gao Zhan believes that the basis of this disease are weakness of the elderly and tumor consumption, and the pathogenic conditions of this disease are surgical injury, heat and blood stasis during operation. Professor Gao Zhan points out that the pathogenesis is spleen and kidney deficiency, and stasis and heat binding, both of them lead to bladder failing to control. The disease location is bladder, and the deficient syndrome is the most common type, with intermingled deficiency and excess. In the treatment, we should give consideration to manifestation and root cause and treating with both elimination and reinforcement. Treatment based on syndrome differentiation combined with staging treatment is necessary. The treatment is mainly to replenish qi and fortify spleen, supplemented by tonifying kidney to reinforce and arrest with astringent therapy, accompanied by clearing heat and removing blood stasis. Professor Gao Zhan takes the self-designed Qishao Tianxin Prescription as the basic prescription, flexibly adds and subtracts Chinese herbs according to the clinical actual situation of patients, and achieves remarkable effect after application in clinical practice. One medical record is attached to prove our view.

ZHENG Xiaohui1 YUAN Puwei2 LI Xiaoqun3 ZHU Fengfeng3 TUO Zhenhe3 WANG Zhankui3
Osteofibrous dysplasia is a benign neoplastic lesion characterized by bone fibrodegeneration. Aneurysmal bone cysts get their name because of localized lesions and periperiosteal reactive bone deposits similar to aneurysmal distension, but the combination of the two is rare. Due to its low incidence, it is easy to be misdiagnosed. At present, pathological examination is the main means of diagnosis, imaging examination can provide a higher diagnosis basis before diagnosis, and surgery is the main treatment. Author collected one patient diagnosed with osteofibrous dysplasia with aneurysmal bone cyst and treated with femoral lesion curettage and iliac bone grafting in the Affiliated Hospital of Shaanxi University of Chinese Medicine in September 2021, and discussed the imaging, pathology, clinical diagnosis, and treatment of this rare disease by reviewing relevant literature.
