Abstract This paper under the guidance of the idea of “T-shaped acupotomy for holistic release” and according to the understanding of the etiology and pathology of cervical spondylosis by acupotomy medicine and acupuncture and moxibustion, “10-point-acupuncture” for the treatment of cervical spondylosis by acupuncture and moxibustion are designed. This paper introduces in detail the method of acupoint selection and operation of acupuncture and moxibustion, and analyzes the principle of the treatment of cervical spondylosis by “10-point-acupuncture” from the perspectives of acupotomology and acupuncture, and expounds the rationality of the treatment of cervical spondylosis by “10-point-acupuncture”. It provides a new method for the treatment of cervical spondylosis.
