WANG Yan1 XIA Lin2 CAI Huazhong3 XIONG Yuyun2
Objective To investigate the effect and mechanism of 4,4′-diisothiocyanostilbene-2,2′-disulfonic acid (DIDS) on myocardial inflammatory response in sepsis mice. Methods A total of 52 male BALB/c mice were divided into 4 groups by random number table method, namely blank control group, lipopolysaccharide (LPS) group, low dose DIDS group and high dose DIDS group, with 13 mice in each group. For 3 days of pretreatment, the low dose DIDS group and the high dose DIDS group were intraperitoneally injected with 7 and 14 mg/kg DIDS every day, respectively, while the blank control group and the LPS group were given the same amount of phosphate buffer salt solution (PBS) intraperitoneally every day. After 2 h of pretreatment on the third day, PBS was injected intraperitoneally into the blank control group, and LPS 10 mg/kg was injected intraperitoneally into the other three groups to establish a mouse sepsis model. After the model was created successfully, the survival status of 10 mice in each group were observed for 48 h, and the survival rates were calculated. In addition, 3 mice in each group were sacrificed after 4 h, and their heart tissues were taken. The mRNA expression of inflammatory factors [including tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α), interleukin-1β (IL-1β) and interleukin-6 (IL-6)] and genes related to Notch signaling pathway (including Notch1-4, Dll1 and Jag1) were detected by real-time PCR. Western blot was used to detect the expression of proteins related to the Notch signaling pathway. Results Compared with the LPS group, the survival rate of mice in the high dose DIDS group was significantly improved, with a highly statistically significant difference (P < 0.01). Compared with the blank control group, the mRNA levels of TNF-α,IL-1β and IL-6 in the LPS group were significantly increased, with statistically significant differences (all P < 0.05). Compared with the LPS group, the mRNA levels of TNF-α,IL-1β and IL-6 in the high dose DIDS group were significantly decreased, with statistically significant differences (all P < 0.05). Compared with the LPS group, mRNA expression levels of Notch1, Notch3, Dll 1 and Jag 1 of Notch signaling related genes in the high-dose DIDS group were increased, and protein levels of Dll 1 and Jag 1 were increased, with statistically significant differences (all P < 0.05). Conclusion DIDS can significantly reduce the myocardial inflammatory response in sepsis mice, and its mechanism may be related to the regulation of Notch signaling pathway.

WANG Kai1,2 LEI Lu2 CAO Jinyi2 DUAN Jialin2 WEN Aidong2 QIAO Yi2 YANG Zhifu2
Flos Carthami is a traditional medicine to promote blood circulation and remove blood stasis, and Astragali Radix is a traditional medicine to replenish qi, they are commonly used in treating ischemic stroke in clinic. Ischemic stroke is an acute cerebrovascular disease, also known as cerebral ischemia, with a higher mortality. After cerebral ischemia, a series of responses occur in the brain, leading to inflammation, apoptosis and brain edema. The mechanism of Flos Carthami and Astragali Radix in the treatment of ischemic stroke is mainly through antioxidant scavenging free radicals, inhibiting apoptosis and inflammatory response, and regulating some signaling pathways to play a role in brain protection. The protective mechanism of Flos Carthami and Astragali Radix is complex and has the characteristics of multiple links, multiple pathways and multiple targets. In this paper, the cerebral protective effects and mechanism of Flos Carthami and Astragali Radix in recent years are reviewed, which will provide theoretical basis for further in-depth research and clinical application.

34 Research progress on adjuvant transcatheter arterial chemoembolization in postoperative hepatocellular carcinoma
LI Jinghe SHI Zhengrong
Transcatheter arterial chemoembolization (TACE) has become an important adjuvant therapy in postoperat -ive hepatocellular carcinoma, and the effect of TACE has gradually gained the attention of clinicians. The current study suggests that recurrence after hepatocellular carcinoma resection is related to the failure to detect potential microscopic lesions in time. Since the blood supply to liver cancer tissue is mainly derived from the hepatic artery, the adjuvant use of TACE can lead to tumor tissue ischemia and necrosis in the embolization area, which can help eliminate small residual cancer, and theoretically can reduce recurrence and prolong survival. However, the actual clinical efficacy and scope of application are still the focus of current explore and research. In this paper, the application opportunity, the applicable population, the application mode and the research progress of efficacy detection of TACE are described.

41 Effect of matrix metalloproteinase-9 and vascular endothelial growth factor on ischemic stroke
XU Yang1 XIONG Yingqiong2▲
Matrix metalloproteinase 9 (MMP-9) can aggravate the development of ischemic stroke (brain infarction) disease by promoting inflammatory response, which is detrimental to the prognosis of the disease. Vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) is beneficial to the establishment of ischemic and penumbra collateral circulation, and plays a relatively beneficial role in the repair of brain infarction injury. However, MMP-9 and VEGF have complex interactions, and the changes in concentration at the time of disease may synergistically aggravate the damage of ischemic brain tissue. In this paper, the role of MMP-9 and VEGF in the development of brain infarction and the interaction between them are reviewed in recent years. It is proposed to reduce the concentration of MMP-9 in time after brain infarction, and timely promotion of VEGF content may be more favorable for prognosis.

XIA Rong YANG Pan LI Jianjun GUO Haichun ZHANG Jianmei XIAO Yaling
Objective To investigate the effect of human luteinizing hormone (LH) on clinical outcome during in-vitro fertilization or intracytoplasmic sperm injection-embryo transfer (IVF/ICSI-ET). Methods Clinical data of patients with ovulation induced through long follicle stage regimen at the Reproductive Center of Changsha Maternal and Child Health Hospital from January 2017 to August 2018 were analyzed retrospectively, 188 cycles. The patients were divided into four groups based on whether the LH preparation was added during the ovulation promotion or not: Group A [human menopausal gonadotropin (HMG) group, 72 cycles]: HMG was included in addition to follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), during ovulation]. Group B (r-LH group, 34 cycles): r-LH was added in addition to FSH in the later stage. Group C (HMG+r-LH group, 51 cycles): HMG was added during ovulation promotion and r-LH group was added in the later stage (no LH group, P < 0.05). Group D (31 cycles): no LH preparation was added. Only FSH was used to promote ovulation until the HCG injection day. Thereafter, the number of eggs, normal fertilization rate, high quality embryo rate, clinical pregnancy rate and embryo implantation rate were compared. Results No significant differences were observed in age, infertility years, blood LH level, number of oocytes acquired, normal fertilization rate and embryo rate among all groups (P > 0. 05). There was highly statistically significant difference in total dose of gonadotropin (Gn) among all groups (P < 0.01), and the total doses of Gn of group A, B, and C were higher than that of group D, the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). There was highly statistically significant difference in usage days of Gn among all groups (P < 0.01), and the usage days of Gn of group B and C were longer than those of group A and D, the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). There was no statistically significant difference in the number of oocytes, normal fertilization rate, high quality embryo rate and implantation rate in each group (P > 0.05). There was statistically significant difference in clinical pregnancy rate among four groups (P > 0.05), the clinical pregnancy rate of group B were higher than that of those group A and D, the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion For the patients with ovulation induced by long regimen in early follicular phase, the addition of LH, especially r-LH, exhibited a tendency to increase the clinical pregnancy rate. However, it still needs to be verified through a study based on larger sample size.

132 The effect of traditional Chinese medicine on mitochondrial fusion and fission in related diseases based on the theory of “yin and yang balance”
SHI Youyang1,2 YANG Rui1,2 HAN Xianghui2 SUN Chenping1 LIU Sheng1,2
The theory of yin and yang is the cornerstone of traditional Chinese medicine theory. Traditional Chinese medicine hold the view that the physiological function of the human body lies in the dynamic balance between yin and yang. The occurrence of diseases is the result of imbalance between yin and yang. Mitochondrion is the center of energy metabolism in the cell, and controlled by a balance between fusion and fission. There is a relationship of opposition, restriction, mutual use and balance between the negative and the positive, which complements the theory of yin and yang. The fusion and fission not only play an important role in maintaining the structure and function of mitochondria, but also closely related to cardiovascular, central nervous, digestive system and cancer diseases. This paper attempts to discuss the effect and mechanism of traditional Chinese medicine on mitochondrial fusion and division in the related diseases from the perspective of adjusting the “yin and yang balance”.

135 Analysis of times of Chinese medicine culture education
FU Wendi
Doing a good job in Chinese medicine culture education is the basis and foundation for inheriting and promoting traditional Chinese medicine. The development of traditional Chinese medicine culture education should be based on the principle of “inheriting the development and abandoning the innovation” and insisting that inheritance is the foundation, discarding is guarantee, and development is the fundamental guiding ideology. Inheritance should be forward-looking and should be based on the current scientific progress, medical development and the characteristics of students. Development must be viewed backwards, taking the cultural background, developmental origin and historical evolution of traditional Chinese medicine into account. We must clarify the urgency of Chinese medicine culture education and identify the entry point for Chinese medicine culture education in the new area of the development of traditional Chinese medicine. Finding out the focus and basic content of Chinese medicine culture education and grasping the core ideas from the Chinese cultural maternal body then strengthening the scientific research of Chinese medicine culture education and highlighting the historical mission for Chinese medicine culture educators. Constructing a modern Chinese medicine concept with Chinese medicine thinking and international view. To establish traditional Chinese medicine thought for students and then make them can promote the inheritors of Chinese medicine, and prosper traditional Chinese medicine.

Objective To study the features in pulse-diagnosis signals of undergraduates in one university. Methods Three probe intelligent pulse information acquisition device was used to collect pulse information of the same group of undergraduates from Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from November 2017 to September 2018 in spring, summer, autumn and winter. After preprocessing the pulse information, the continuous pulse waves of multiple periods were selected as the research object. The least square regression of 12 harmonics was carried out for each period and the mathematical model was established. After obtaining the characteristic parameters, SAS was used for statistical analysis. Results The mean value of h1 in autumn was lower than that in other three seasons (P < 0.05). There was no significant difference in the mean value of h1 between spring, summer and winter (P > 0.05). There was significant difference in the mean value of h1 between different parts of pulse in summer and winter (P < 0.05). There was no significant difference in the mean value of h1 between different parts of pulse in spring and autumn (P > 0.05). There was significant difference in h1 in different seasons (P < 0.05). There was no significant difference in h1 between left and right ruler in different seasons (P > 0.05). Conclusion The four seasons pulse force and its changing law are basically consistent with the physiological state of normal people and the pulse condition of traditional Chinese medicine. The comparison of six pulses partly reflects the theory of “five viscera responding to time”.

155 An investigation of the price management history of ancient Chinese medicine
WANG Jing1 ZHOU Wenli2 ZHOU Yan′an3
The price of Chinese medicines under state control began in Wester Zhou Dynasty, and the price of Chinese medicines is stabilized by means of Pingtiao, Pingdi and drug reserve. Before 221 B.C.(before Qin Dynasty), the price of traditional Chinese medicines is the natural price foemed by the natural economy. In Han Dynasty, 14 kinds of traditional Chinese medicines, such as Rhizoma Coptidis, Radix Cyathulae, Radix Saposhnikoviae and Radix Dipsaci, average 8 Wen per Liang, 160 times as such grain, and the price is dominated by the seller. Tang Dynasty adopt the Changping policy, Hezhi and Pingzhu methods and the strict three-lever price system. The average price of 43 kinds of medicines, such as Coptic chinensis and Scutellaria baicalensis is 15.03 times that of grain, 23.1 times that of grain. Song Dynasty follows the price management system of the Tang Dynasty, and the price of medicines is 45.6 times that of grain, the price of monopolized drugs is less than one third of the market price. In Ming and Qing Dynasty, the policy of Changping is still applied, and the price of medicines is 82.16 and 12.6 times higher than that of grain respectively. In a word, the price formation mechanism of traditional Chinese medicines from Han Dynasty to Qing Dynasty is composed of stste intervention and production competition. The ancient drug monopoly system has certain practical significance.

JIANG Xu CAO Haiming WU Guanwei DONG Zhuang MA Xueping YANG Xuezhen
The clinical data of one case of retroperitoneal schwannoma in the Second Affiliated Hospital of Bengbu Medical College in 2017 was retrospectively analyzed to explore the diagnosis and treatment of retroperitoneal schwannoma. In this case report, the patient was admitted due to biochemical recurrence of prostate cancer and found para-inferior vena cava space occupying during CT review, but the patient had no specific clinical manifestations and the nature of the mass could not be determined before surgery. After complete preoperative preparation, laparoscopic surgical resection was performed for the patient, and postoperative pathology confirmed that the patient was a schwannoma. The patient had a good prognosis, and there was no recurrence of schwannoma during 1-year follow-up. Through the study of relevant literature, we believe that retroperitoneal schwannoma is a rare tumor, and such patients lack specific clinical manifestations and imaging features, so a definite diagnosis cannot be made before surgery. The diagnosis of this tumor depends on postoperative pathological examination. The best treatment is complete surgical resection, and the prognosis of patients after surgery is good. At present, the recurrence of retroperitoneal schwannoma is rarely reported.
