JIA Shuwei WANG Ling JIAO Runsheng
Objective To investigate the association between ischemic stroke-induced arrhythmia and the activity of amygdala and the possible mechanism. Methods Forty-eight rats were randomly and equally divided into the following groups: sham-operated group, 30 min, 1 h, 2 h, 4 h, and 8 h after ischemic stroke groups, and the changes of the activity of amygdala neurons in ischemic stroke rats were observed. Forty rats were randomly and equally divided into the following groups: blank control group, saline group, L-glutamate group, MK-801 before L-glutamate and MK-801 preceding making model group, and the effects of glutamate on arrhythmia induced by ischemic stroke were observed. The experimental cerebral ischemic animal model was established by occluding the right middle cerebral artery (MCAO). The electrocardiography was recorded by a biological signal collecting and processing system. Fos protein was used as an objective indicator to illustrate the functional state of neurons. Results The incidence of arrhythmia in model group was 0, and the sham-operated group was 78.75%, the incidence of arrhythmia in the sham-operated group was significantly higher than that in model group (P < 0.01), and the expression of Fos protein in the amygdala was also increased significantly during the arrhythmia (P < 0.01). The incidence of arrhythmia in blank control group and saline group was 0, L-glutamate group was 87.5%, which was significantly higher than blank control group (P < 0.01), and the expression of Fos protein in the amygdala of the L-glutamate group was also increased significantly (P < 0.05). The incidence of arrhythmia in both MK-801 preceding making model group and MK-801 preceding L-glutamate group was 0, and the expression of Fos protein had no obvious change (P > 0.05). Conclusion It is concluded that activation of the amygdala in ischemic stroke rats is likely mediated by glutamate via activation of N-methyl-D-aspartic acid receptors, which causes arrhythmias.

TIAN Hao CHEN Shichun HAN Yutong CHEN Fuming MA Aiqing LU Chengyu
Biomembrane-coated nanotechnology is a new biomimetic strategy for nanosystems. In this strategy, various kinds of biological membranes with versatile characteristics are used as functional materials and engineered on the surface of drug-loaded nano cores, which avoids the cumbersome process of traditional chemical methods to modify nanoparticles. Benefit from the camouflage function of biological membranes, the mimetic nanoparticles obtain the natural properties of the original biomembrane with good biocompatibility and characteristics of long circulation and lesion targeting. In the past few years, such biomimetic nanosystems have been successfully applied in drug delivery, showing broad application prospects in the fields of accurate diagnosis and treatment of diseases. This paper reviews the research progress of biomimetic nanoparticles in drug delivery system and prospect the future research.

Composite tissue flap to repair the research progress of venous dysfunction in patients with tissue defect
LUO Yuanguo QIN Wanan WU Jiachang LIN Zhoudan YANG Hua
Flap is often used to repair tissue, the key to the survival of the flap depends on whether the blood circulation in the flaps can be reestablished. For normal tissue defects, the survival rate of flap transplantation was relatively high, but for some patients with functional impairment of venous vascular function, it is difficult to transplant the flap. It is one of the difficult clinical problems in orthopedics to explore the surgical method to maximize the limb function and reduce the disability rate. In this paper, the progress of composite tissue flap for repairing tissue defects in patients with venous dysfunction was discussed, although for patients with venous dysfunction the flap was not able to establish the physiological blood flaps in the early stage, but through the study of arteriovenous flap, to reduce the tension of skin flap, making the part cannot backflow of tissue fluid and blood extravasation directly, thus can avoid excessive local flap transplantation area edema aggravated and micro thrombosis in blood vessel caused by the flap tension. If necessary, it can through a blood transfusion to keep the flap alive. For patients with venous dysfunction but must have skin flap repair, this is a viable surgical procedure.

TANG Ming1 YANG Hui1 LIU Pengjie2 XU Minjie1 ZHANG Yinghong1 CHEN Tianxing1
Objective To identify the differential expression proteins in thyroid well-differentiated tumour of uncertain malignant potential (WT-UMP) and to look for new protein biomarkers. Methods A total of 20 thyroid WT-UMP resection samples and 20 normal thyroid tissues adjacent to thyroid WT-UMP were obtained from January 2015 to December 2016 in the First People's Hospital of Yunnan Province (hereinafter referred to as "our hospital"). In addition, 30 blocks papillary thyroid carcinoma (PTC) were obtained from the pathology department of our hospital from January to December 2016. The total proteins which were extracted from frozen thyroid samples in each group were profiled with two-dimensional electrophoresis (2-DE). The differential protein spots were identified by PDQuest 7.3 software and identified by matrix-assisted laser desorption ionization time-of-fight mass spectrometry (MALDI-TOF-MS) and SWISS-PROT database. The different proteins were classified by PANTHER analysis and five differentially expressed proteins of these spots were further validated through immunohistochemistry (IHC). Results 27 proteins were identified with MS. There were 25 high expression and 2 low level expression proteins in thyroid WT-UMP. IHC revealed the following five proteins located in the cytoplasm: cytosolic non-specific dipeptidase (CNDP2), cytokeratin 18 (CK18), cathepsin B (CTSB), calreticulin (CRT) and annexin A5 (ANXA5). Four kinds of proteins include CK18, CTSB, CRT and ANXA5 were over-expressed in thyroid WT-UMP compared with normal tissues, the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05); Meanwhile, the four proteins were over-expressed in PTC compared with thyroid WT-UMP (P < 0.05). Conclusion The differentially expressed protein molecules were successfully screened and identified in thyroid WT-UMP. The changes of these proteins expression may be involved in the genesis and development of thyroid WT-UMP. The newly identified protein biomarkers can positively contribute to early thyroid WT-UMP diagnosis by using IHC.
