Abstract With the deepening of medical education reform, new requirements have been raised for the reform of college students' quality education and the training of innovative ability. Cultivation of scientific research ability is an important way to cultivate innovative talents. Dalian Medical University attaches great importance to scientific research ability of medical undergraduates, through the establishment of adjusting curriculum system, improving the tutorial system and open research platform, setting up extra credit and a series of reform to explore the scientific teaching mode of undergraduate medical conditions in our country, which has achieved good results. The scientific research teaching model of medical undergraduates can improve students' independent learning ability and train their innovative thinking and scientific research ability. It is an effective way to train innovative medical talents.
