Abstract Objective To compare the force property between bamboo splint fixation and plaster fixation. Methods A muscular edema simulation system based on MSP430 was designed to carry out experiments.By simulation of human body muscle edema, the pressure on the muscles were compared between the simulation experiment of bamboo splint and plaster fixation. Results A tatol of 15 sets of comparative experiments were carried out. After the experimental, results were averaged, quadratic function fitting was performed. The fitting force of the bamboo plates showed a good linearity. With the same initial pressure, the force of the bamboo plates decrease much slower than plaster group. Conclusion Experiments shows that the force of bamboo splints is more durable and stable for muscles.
