Abstract In the reconstruction of ligament, autograft, allograft and artificial ligament all have enough mechanical properties to meet the needs of reconstructive surgery. Ligament fixation devices become the key elements to decide whether the operation is successful or not. This paper briefly introduces several kinds of commonly used clinical ligament fixation devices, and describes how to restrain from "wiper effect" "bungee effect" and "joint fluid infusion", reduce the extent of bone tunnel expansion, focuses on the description of the human effort to promote the tendon-to-bone healing effect by improving the way to use the fixation devices, material selection, structure design, etc. The efforts are expected to provide help for the development of a new type of fixer.
