Abstract  Objective To study the application effect of home rehabilitation management model of “Services for the Disabled” APP in stroke patients with hemiplegia. Methods A total of 192 stroke patients with hemiplegia admitted to Beijing Rehabilitation Hospital of Capital Medical University from January 2018 to January 2020 were selected and divided into control group (96 cases) and study group (96 cases) according to random number table method. The control group received routine home rehabilitation for stroke patients with hemiplegia, and the study group received home rehabilitation management model of “Services for the Disabled” APP. Both groups received intervention for three months. Modified Barthel index (MBI), Fugl-Meyer assessment scale (FMA), Berg balance scale (BBS), patient health questionnaire-9 (PHQ-9), general self-efficacy scale (GSES) between the two groups before and after the intervention were compared and analyzed. Results During the study, two patients withdrew from the study group, and 190 patients were eventually enrolled in the study. After intervention, MBI, FMA, BBS, and GSES scores of the two groups were higher than before intervention, and the study group was higher than the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). After intervention, PHQ-9 score of the study group was lower than before and lower than that of the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion “Services for the Disabled” APP home rehabilitation management model can effectively improve the daily living activities and motor functions of stroke patients with hemiplegia, reduce depression and stimulate self-efficacy, which is worth promoting and applying.
