Abstract Objective To analyze the knowledge graph of the clinical research progress of traditional Chinese medicine prevention of deep vein thrombosis based on CiteSpace software. Methods Literatures related to the prevention of deep vein thrombosis by traditional Chinese medicine from inception to December 2020 of China National Knowledge Infrastructure database were searched, and CiteSpace software was used for measurement and visualization analysis. Results A total of 810 articles were included, and the number of articles published showed a trend of steady growth year by year. Ten high-yielding authors formed four stable teams. Luoyang Orthopedic-Traumatological Hospital of Henan Province was the institution with the most articles published, with key words Shuxuetong Injection, Xuefu Zhuyu Decoction and so on. Conclusion The prevention of deep vein thrombosis by traditional Chinese medicine has attracted more and more attention, and research forms are diverse. In the future, it is still necessary to strengthen cooperation and conduct multi-disciplinary and multi-center research.
