| Clinical application of clinical nursing pathways based on the concept of zero defect in the perioperative period of orthopedics and traumatology patients#br# |

Abstract Objective To explore the clinical application of clinical nursing pathways based on the concept of zero defect in the perioperative period of orthopedics and traumatology patients. Methods According to the order of admission, a total of 80 cases of orthopedics and traumatology patients admitted to the People’s Hospital of Bozhou from August to December 2020 were divided into observation group (40 cases) and control group (40 cases). The control group carried out routine nursing intervention during the perioperative period, and the observation group carried out the clinical nursing path based on the zero defect concept on the basis of the above, and the clinical nursing results in the perioperative period of the two groups were compared. Results The operation time and hospitalization time of the observation group were shorter than those of the control group, intraoperative blood loss and hospitalization expenses were lower than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P ＜ 0.05). The total incidence of nursing defects in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P ＜ 0.05). The total incidence of adverse nursing events in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P ＜ 0.05). The nursing satisfaction scores of the observation group were higher than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P ＜ 0.05). Conclusion The implementation of the zero defect clinical nursing pathway during the perioperative period of orthopedics and traumatology patients can help nurses to cooperate with doctors to better complete the operation, reduce the occurrence of nursing defects and nursing adverse events, and significantly improve the satisfaction of trauma patients with nursing care.
