Expression and clinical significance of miR-204-5p and miR-1233-3p in hypertensive disorders complicating pregnancy women#br# |

Abstract Objective To investigate the diagnostic value of miR-204-5p and miR-1233-3p for hypertensive disorders complicating pregnancy (HDCP). Methods A total of 197 HDCP patients admitted to Cangzhou Central Hospital of Hebei Province (hereinafter referred to as “our hospital”) from December 2018 to June 2020 were selected as research subjects, among them, 102 patients with gestational hypertension were in gestational hypertension group, and 95 patients with preeclampsia were in preeclampsia group; in addition, 82 normal full-term single pregnancy pregnant women who were admitted hospital for labor and regular perinatal care in Department of Obstetrics of our hospital were randomly selected as control group. The expressions of miR-204-5p and miR-1233-3p, interleukin-6 (IL-6) and tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) in peripheral blood of the subjects were detected. The correlation between the expression of miR-204-5p and miR-1233-3p and the clinical parameters IL-6, and TNF-α of HDCP patients, and the diagnostic value of miR-204-5p and miR-1233-3p for HDCP were analyzed. Results The expressions of serum miR-204-5p and miR-1233-3p and the levels of IL-6 and TNF-α in preeclampsia group and gestational hypertension group were higher than those in control group (P < 0.05); the expressions of serum miR-204-5p and miR-1233-3p and the levels of IL-6 and TNF-α in preeclampsia group were higher than those in gestational hypertension group (P < 0.05). The expressions of miR-204-5p and miR-1233-3p in HDCP patients were negatively correlated with gestational age and neonatal weight (rmiR-204-5P = -0.403, -0.395, rmiR-1233-3p = -0.321, -0.354, P < 0.05); it was positively correlated with systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, 24 h urine protein, IL-6, and TNF-α (rmiR-204-5P = 0.653, 0.619, 0.597, 0.594, 0.601, rmiR-12333-3p = 0.624, 0.609, 0.543, 0.615, 0.631, P < 0.05). The area under curve value of HDCP diagnosed by miR-204-5p and miR-1233-3p was greater than that detected by miR-204-5p and miR-1233-3p alone (P < 0.05). Conclusion The high expressions of miR-204-5p and miR-1233-3p are related to gestational age, neonatal weight and inflammatory factors, which have high application value for the diagnosis of HDCP.
