Abstract With the development of information education, a steady stream of knowledge is growing exponentially on all kinds of platforms. Online and offline hybrid education model can provide a multi-dimensional knowledge output platform to meet the development needs of the times. In order to make up to the defects of traditional education methods, colleges and universities can use the modern network platform to explore a hybrid teaching system which combined the online education and the traditional teaching, and it is particularly important to build a teaching method suitable for the medical courses. Based on the teaching characteristics of medical colleges and universities, this paper shows the application of online and offline mixed teaching method from the selection of pre-class teaching platform, the design of in-class teaching method, and the evaluation of after-class quality, and it also shows the thought on the high-quality teaching methods suitable for medical colleges and universities.
