Application effect of nursing based on FMEA model in emergency cane of patients with severe trauma |

Abstract Objective To explore the application effect of failure mode and effect analysis (FMEA) model nursing in emergency care of severe trauma patients. Methods A total of 122 severe trauma patients admitted to Second Affiliated Hospital of Air Force Military Medical University between October 2017 and October 2020 were selected as the research objects. The patients were divided into observation group and control group by random number table method, with 61 cases in each group. Patients in the observation group were treated with a nursing plan based on the FMEA model, and patients in the control group were treated with a conventional nursing plan. The emergency response time, rescue success rate, complications of the two groups to evaluate the application effects of different emergency care models were observed and studied. Results The emergency room stay time, pre-treatment inspection time, pre-operative waiting time, and the interval between admission and rescue in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). The rescue success rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05); the incidence of complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion The emergency nursing scheme based on FMEA model has good clinical application value for patients with severe trauma. It can effectively improve the emergency response speed of the hospital, improve the success rate of rescue, and effectively control the occurrence of emergency related complications, which is worthy of popularization and application in nursing practice.
