| Clinical effect of self-made Fuzheng Quxie Yukui Decoction in the treatment of ulcerative colitis with syndrome of intermingled heat and cold |

Abstract Objective To observe and discuss the curative effect of self-made Fuzheng Quxie Yukui Decoction in the treatment of ulcerative colitis with syndrome of intermingled heat and cold. Methods A total of 120 ulcerative colitis patients with syndrome of intermingled heat and cold treated in Department of Spleen and Stomach, Weihai Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from June 2019 to June 2020 were selected as research subjects. The patients were divided into control group and treatment group by random number table method, with 60 patients in each group. The control group was given Mesalazine, and the treatment group was additionally treated with self-made Fuzheng Quxie Yukui Decoction on the basis of the control group. The course of treatment was four weeks. The clinical effect, traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score and mucosal histological score were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, the overall effective rate of the treatment group was significantly higher than that of the control group (P < 0.05). After treatment, the traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores, mucosal histological scores of the two groups were significantly lower than those before treatment (P < 0.05), which of the treatment group were significantly lower than those of the control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion Self-made Fuzheng Quxie Yukui Decoction can eliminate or improve the clinical symptoms, and promote the recovery of ulcerative colitis.
