Abstract Hand diagnosis is one of the unique diagnostic methods of traditional Chinese medicine. At present, there is still a lack of scientific data reports on the diagnosis rate of coronary heart disease by hand diagnosis. Based on the national key research and development program, this paper summarizes the experience of many hand diagnosis methods for coronary heart disease represented by Liu Jianfeng’s qi color form hand diagnosis, summarizes the important characteristics of different hand diagnosis methods for heart diseases such as hand color, shape, palm print, fingerprint and nail, summarizes the advantages of hand diagnosis in the diagnosis of coronary heart disease and heart diseases, and puts forward the author’s experience in the application of hand diagnosis and the prospect of scientific research on hand diagnosis, so as to clarify the thinking of further clinical research on the diagnosis of coronary heart disease by qi color form hand diagnosis.
