Abstract The increasing proportion of “empty-nest” elderly people has led to a sharp increase in the demand for health protection services for the elderly, and the proportion of disabled and partially disabled elderly people has also increased rapidly, leading to an increasingly significant demand for medical services and daily care for the elderly. However, the current medical, health and elderly care service resources are limited and cannot effectively meet the needs of the elderly. Therefore, it is extremely urgent to actively provide the elderly with services that combine medical, health and elderly care. Based on this, as the first specialized hospital for geriatrics in Dongcheng District, Beijing, after more than 20 years of exploration, it proposes the construction of an integrated platform based on the intelligent interconnection “1+4”, that is, “one platform supports, four major services are implemented.” Taking Dongcheng District, Beijing as a model, provide closed-loop services for the regional elderly with integrated medical care, and gradually promote the intelligent interconnected “1+4” medical care integrated platform to form a replicable and extendable model across the country.
