Analysis on prescription rules of China Diabetes Prescription in the treatment of diabetic peripheral neuropathy based on data mining |

Abstract Objective To analyze medication rules of China Diabetes Prescription in the treatment of diabetic peripheral neuropathy based on traditional Chinese medicine inheritance system (V2.5). Methods The database of Chinese medicine for treating diabetic peripheral neuropathy was constructed. By using data mining methods, such as cluster analysis and association rule analysis, the frequency statistics, drug pairs, formula rules and new formula analysis of the database were studied. Results A total of 186 prescriptions for treating diabetic peripheral neuropathy were screened, involving 201 traditional Chinese medicines. Astragali Radix and Angelicae Sinensis Radix were the two most frequently used herbs. There were 20 core combinations and nine new prescriptions. The therapeutic drugs were warm in nature, with sweet, bitter and pungent taste, mainly belonging to liver, spleen, heart and kidney channels. Conclusion Based on the existing prescriptions, a systematic analysis of the law of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of diabetic peripheral neuropathy can provide a new reference for the treatment of Chinese medicine.
