Analysis of related researches on mitral valve replacement based on bibliometrics |

Abstract Objective To analyze related researches on mitral valve replacement based on bibliometrics. Methods Literatures related to mitral valve replacement were retrieved from the Web of Science Core Collection database from January 2010 to December 2019. CiteSpace V software was used for visual analysis of countries, institutions, authors and keywords in the research field. Results A total of 1794 literatures were included. The major research forces were from the United States, including Mayo Clinic, Columbia University and University of Pennsylvania. Research focuses on related diseases, surgical experience and methods, surgical risk, postoperative survival and recovery, etc. Conclusion This paper reveals the research strength, development context, hot spots and frontiers of this field in the past ten years, and provides reference for future related research.
