Reflection on bilingual course teaching reform and internationalization in the university of traditional Chinese medicine |

Abstract In recent years, with the rapid economic development and the internationalization of pharmaceutical industry, the demands for international traditional Chinese medicine talents in China are increasing. Bilingual teaching caters to the trend of economic globalization and education internationalization, which is an inevitable trend of the development of higher traditional Chinese medicine education. In order to promote the higher education of traditional Chinese medicine to face the world better and to cultivate interdisciplinary talents with international vision and high quality, China has put forward higher requirements for bilingual teaching in universities of traditional Chinese medicine. Under the strong support of national policies, bilingual teaching has achieved certain results in some colleges and universities. However, at present, there are obvious deficiencies in the bilingual construction of traditional Chinese medicine specialty in China, such as the lack of teachers, the lack of teaching materials, and the single teaching method. Based on the research background of bilingual teaching and in view of the current situation of bilingual teaching in traditional Chinese medicine colleges and universities in China, this paper discusses the existing problems and puts forward reasonable strategies, in order to promote the bilingual teaching of traditional Chinese medicine courses in China more effectively so as to better meet the needs of its internationalization.
