| Clinical effect of open loop procedure for prolapse and hemorrhoids in the treatment of circular hemorrhoids patients |

Abstract Objective To study the curative effect of open loop procedure for prolapse and hemorrhoids (PPH) in the treatment of circular hemorrhoids. Methods The diagnosis and treatment of 100 patients with circular hemorrhoids admitted to Anhui Wanbei Coal-electricity Group General Hospital from January 2018 to January 2020 were retrospectively analyzed, and they were divided into observation group (64 cases) and control group (36 cases) according to different surgical methods. The control group was treated with conventional PPH, and the observation group was treated with open loop PPH. The clinical efficacy at postoperative one month and perioperative conditions were compared between the two groups, and the changes of the anal canal resting pressure, rectal resting pressure, anal canal maximum systolic pressure, and length of anal canal high pressure band at preoperative and postoperative three months were compared, and the incidence of postoperative complications was compared. Results There was no significant difference in the total effective rate of clinical efficacy between the two groups (P ＞ 0.05). There were no significant differences in operation time, hospitalization time, wound healing time and resumption of work time between the two groups (P ＞ 0.05). The anal canal resting pressure, rectal resting pressure, anal canal maximum systolic pressure and length of anal canal high pressure band at postoperative three months in both groups were higher than those at preoperative, and the observation group was higher than the control group, the differences were statistically significant (all P ＜ 0.05). The total incidence of postoperative complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P ＜ 0.05). Conclusion Open loop PPH has obvious effect in the treatment of patients with circular hemorrhoids, which can effectively promote the recovery of anal function and reduce the incidence of complications, and is worthy of application and promotion.
