Abstract The radial microcephalus plays a crucial role in the elbow joint and the treatment of the radial fracture in the "triad" of the elbow directly affects the stability of the elbow joint. By reviewing the literatures about the treatment of radial capitulum fracture in elbow "triad" at home and abroad in recent years, found that the views on the treatment of it is mainly surgery and conservative therapy. The surgical method is mainly internal fixation and radial small head replacement, while conservative treatment is mainly gypsum or splint and other external fixation treatment and early functional exercise. Both treatments have advantages and disadvantages, and most of the efficacy is satisfactory. This paper summarized the studies of the mechanism of the fracture of radial fracture in the "triad" of the elbow joint, the research and the treatment progress of the injury mechanism, so as to provide references to the treatment.
