Abstract In the clinical work, the typical renal tuberculosis and kidney stones are easy to be identified, but atypical renal tuberculosis is easily confused with kidney stones, leading to misdiagnosis and mistreatment. The diagnosis of atypical renal tuberculosis requires diagnostic criteria rather than general diagnostic methods. This paper summarizes the medical history, clinical features, auxiliary examinations and treatment procedures of 1 case with untypical renal tuberculosis in Dingzhou People's Hospital and discusses the pathogenesis, clinical features, diagnosis and treatment of atypical renal tuberculosis, so as to summarize experience, improve diagnosis rate, and reduce misdiagnosis rate and delay diagnosis rate, make the patients with atypical renal tuberculosis get timely and effective treatment.
