| The influences of comprehensive nursing intervention on compliance behavior, self-management behavior and curative effect in patients with glaucoma |

Abstract Objective To explore the influences of compliance behavior, self-management behavior and curative effect in patients with glaucoma. Methods The clinical data of 96 patients with glaucoma treated in the First People's Hospital of Xianyang City from February 2016 to March 2017 were analyzed retrospectively and divided into the control group (46 cases) and the comprehensive nursing intervention group (50 cases) by different nursing method. Before and after nursing, the compliance behavior, self-management and curative effect were evaluated by self-designed questionnaire. The vision, field defect and eye pressure were compared in the two groups. Results Before nursing, there were no statistically significant differences in the drug compliance, regular follow-up visit, cognitive dysfunction, self-check, patient consciousness and avoid recurrence, lifeway, follow-up and medication, the vision, field defect and eye pressure in the two groups (P ＞ 0.05). After nursing, the indicators above were all improved and those in the comprehensive nursing intervention group improved much more remarkably, with statistically significant differences(P ＜ 0.05). Conclusion The application of comprehensive nursing intervention in patients with glaucoma can improve the compliance behavior and self-management. It can promote the vision, reduce the field defect and eye pressure. It is worthy of promotion and application.
