Abstract Pancreatic cancer is currently one of the cancers with a poor prognosis. Long non-coding RNA (LncRNA) plays an important role in the diagnosis, treatment and prognosis of pancreatic cancer. As an important member of the lncRNA family, intergenic long non-coding RNA-recoding regulatory factor (Linc-RoR) also plays an important role in pancreatic cancer. Linc-RoR is highly expressed in pancreatic cancer and promotes the proliferation, migration, invasion and drug resistance of pancreatic cancer cells. Linc-RoR is also involved in the stemness maintenance of pancreatic cancer stem cells, and is closely related to the prognosis of pancreatic cancer. Linc-RoR is expected to become a new biomarker and gene therapy target for pancreatic cancer, bringing new hope to the clinical treatment of pancreatic cancer.
