Risk factors analysis of total imaging burden of cerebral small vessel disease in acute ischemic stroke patients |

Abstract Objective To explore the risk factors of total imaging burden of cerebral small vessel disease (CSVD) in acute ischemic stroke (AIS) patients. Methods From January 2019 to January 2020, a total of 62 patients with AIS in Dongzhimen Hospital of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine were selected as the research subjects. They were divided into group 0-1 (36 cases) and group 2-4 (26 cases) according to CSVD total imaging burden score. The general data and clinical data of two groups were compared. Results Age and plasma homocysteine (Hcy) level in group 2-4 were higher than those in group 0-1, and the differences were statistically significant (all P < 0.05). Logistic regression analysis showed that age and Hcy level were independent risk factors for the severity of total burden of CSVD in AIS patients (OR >1, P < 0.05). Conclusion The total burden of CSVD imaging in AIS patients with advanced age and high blood Hcy level are heavier.
