| Application and SWOT analysis of informatization in quality control of outpatient medical records in Chinese medicine hospitals |

Abstract The use of information technology to strengthen the quality control of outpatient clinics has become a trend in modern hospital outpatient management. Information technology can help outpatient managers to solve the dilemma of outpatient management of paper medical records to a certain extent, and the improvement of the “clinical-research-teaching” level of outpatient services in Chinese medicine hospitals. The application of informatization to the quality control of outpatient medical records in traditional Chinese medicine hospitals can be carried out in three stages, namely, before, during and after the event, from the three levels of self-control, scientific control and hospital control. Hospital administrators should also focus on cultivating interdisciplinary management talents in outpatient clinics, improving outpatient informatization and protecting information security, so that information technology can be safely used in the quality control of outpatient medical records in Chinese medicine hospitals.
