Abstract Hospital infection management in China has been paid more and more attention by leaders and medical institutions at all levels. The level of hospital infection control has become an important indicator of medical quality evaluation and plays an important role in ensuring the occupational safety of medical staff. However, the lack of hospital infection control specialty in China’s medical colleges and universities has led to deficiencies in discipline construction, team construction and other aspects, which have restricted the development of the major. However, to change this situation will not be solved in a short time. Chaoyang District of Beijing took the lead in establishing the district hospital infection management quality control center in 2010. Under the guidance of the concept of “top-level design”, the center carries out the research on the training of full-time and part-time staff of regional hospital infection control, and achieves certain results. In order to make up for the deficiencies of the construction of hospital infection professional team, some ideas and methods can be used for reference, which are of great significance for promoting the sustainable development of hospital infection management.
