Abstract The clinical skills is the most basic quality requirements for the doctors, but for large hospital professionals, only to master the clinical skills is not enough, which is just as important as the cultivation and training of scientific research ability and clinical skills training. At the same time, with the concept of translational medicine deepen into China's medical pediatric health system and development planning, pediatric department in large hospitals urgently need to train a number of clinical research complex talents to promote the core competitiveness of the hospital. This paper first discusses the current problems in pediatric clinical research of compex talents cultivation, analyzes the system of the training status of pediatric clinical research talents in Beijing Children's Hospital, finally puts forward the countermeasures for sustainable development: strengthen the consciousness of scientific research, establish talent evaluation standards, actively promote the achivevements transformation and implementation of double tutor system.
