Abstract As an important part of the clinical pathway of coronary heart disease treatment, cardiac rehabilitation can not meet the rehabilitation needs of patients at present. Hospital based continuous nursing is the most researched and developed continuous nursing mode, which can promote the patients with coronary heart disease to participate in the heart rehabilitation process, improve the effect of heart rehabilitation, improve the quality of life of patients, and reduce the incidence of cardiovascular adverse events. In this paper, the concept of cardiac rehabilitation and extended nursing, the background and application of extended nursing based on hospital in cardiac rehabilitation were reviewed, in order to provide a reference for the clinical practice of coronary heart disease rehabilitation.
