| Fusion of narrative medicine and general practice from the perspective of healthy China |

Abstract General practice aims at promoting the overall health of residents. The development of healthy China can′t be separated from the development of general practice. General practitioners are the main practitioners of general practice and the main force of the healthy China strategy. Only general practitioners with high professional quality and high humanistic quality can shoulder this important task and promote the construction of the healthy China. Starting from the connotation of healthy China, this paper makes a comprehensive analysis of the background and related concepts of narrative medicine. It further points out that the fusion of narrative medicine into general practice can help to implement the “people-centered” concept in general medicine, help general practitioners and their service object to establish a long-term and stable doctor-patient relationship, and can ease the professional burnout feeling of general practitioners. In the end, it puts forward the way of cultivating medical narrative competence in general practice education from the perspective of healthy China, aiming at establishing a harmonious doctor-patient relationship in the long run and accelerating the pace of healthy China strategy.
