Abstract By combing and summarizing the literature on follicular maldevelopment in traditional Chinese medicine, this paper summarizes the etiology and pathogenesis of follicular maldevelopment in traditional Chinese medicine in recent years and elaborates the recent clinical treatment of follicular maldevelopment in traditional Chinese medicine. It is believed that the etiology and pathogenesis of follicular maldevelopment in traditional Chinese medicine are mainly caused by the three dirty dysfunction of kidney, liver, spleen, and see spittoon coagulation, blood stasis, etc.. Traditional Chinese medicine treatment mainly includes traditional Chinese medicine syndrome differentiation and treatment, traditional Chinese medicine cycle therapy, acupuncture and combination of acupuncture and medicine, traditional Chinese medicine retention enema, acupoint catgut embedding, traditional Chinese medicine combined with acupoint catgut embedding and other aspects. In this paper, through the elaboration of traditional Chinese medicine treatment methods and clinical efficacy, to understand the research status of traditional Chinese medicine treatment of this disease, for the follow-up further research to provide a certain reference.
