| Effect of Danshen Chuanxiongqin Injection combined with Low Molecular Weight Heparin in the treatment of pulmonary embolism |

Abstract Objective To investigate the effect of Danshen Chuanxiongqin Injection combined with Low Molecular Weight Heparin Sodium in the treatment of pulmonary embolism. Methods Ninety-three patients with pulmonary embolism treated in Laibin People′s Hospital in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region from March 2018 to September 2019 were selected, they were divided into control group (n = 46) and study group (n = 47) according to the random number table method. Control group was treated with Low Molecular Weight Heparin Sodium, study group was treated with Danshen Chuanxiongqin Injection on the basis of control group. Clinical efficacy of two groups after treatment was compared. Blood gas analysis indexes, D-dimer (D-D), troponin I (TnI), homocysteine (Hcy) of two groups were compared before and after treatment, and adverse reaction of two groups was recorded during treatment. Results Total effective rate of study group was higher than that of control group after treatment (P < 0.05). PaO2 of two groups after treatment was higher than that before treatment, which of study group was higher than that of control group (P < 0.05). After treatment, the levels of D-D, TnI, Hcy and PaCO2 in two groups were lower than those before treatment, and study group was lower than control group (P < 0.05). There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between two groups (P > 0.05). Conclusion Danshen Chuanxiongqin Injection combined with Low Molecular Weight Heparin Sodium is effective in treating pulmonary embolism. It can effectively improve the serum level of TnI, Hcy, D-D and blood gas analysis indexes, without increasing the incidence of adverse reactions, and has certain clinical value.
