Abstract The theory of “five definite answer in clinical practice” proposed by professor Yu Shuzhuang, it′s emphasized that acupuncturist should clarify diagnosis, syndrome differentiation, meridians and acupoints, treating methods. This paper summarizes professor Yu Shuzhuang′s experience in the application of his thoery, and preliminarily analyzes his academic thoughts about diagnosis and treatment. Combined with clinical practice, the author briefly talks about the personal experience of applying the theory of “five definite answer in clinical practice”.
