Effect of Naoxintong Capsules on neurological function in cardiogenic stroke patients |

Abstract Objective To investigate the effect of Naoxintong Capsules on neurological function in cardiogenic stroke patients. Methods From January 2017 to December 2018, a total of 118 patients with cardiogenic stroke who were treated in Hebei Friendship Hospital were divided into the control group (58 cases) and the treatment group (60 cases) by random number table method. The control group was received routine treatment, while the treatment group was received Naoxintong Capsules on the basis of routine treatment. The National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) score, clinical efficacy and blood lipid level were observed after 3 months of treatment. Results After 3 months of treatment, the total effective rate in the treatment group was significantly higher than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05); the NIHSS score of patients of the two groups were significantly lower than before treatment, while the treatment group was significantly lower than the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05); the triacylglycerol and total cholesterol in the two groups were lower than before the treatment, while the treatment group were significantly lower than the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion Naoxintong Capsules has good curative effect on cardiogenic stroke and can improve the degree of neurological deficits of patients, which is worthy of clinical promotion.
