Abstract In recent years, tumor has been the focus of nanomedicine research, and the extracellular acidic environment of tumor provides a new idea for targeted therapy of tumor. The pH-sensitive structure changes conformation with the change of pH. The combination of pH-sensitive structure and nanostructure is used to construct the pH-sensitive nanostructure to promote the uptake of tumor cells. This paper reviews the recent research on pH-sensitive nanostructures used for tumor targeted drug delivery, describes the types of pH-sensitive nanostructures, and describes the combination of pH-sensitive structures and nanostructures. Further understanding of pH-sensitive nanostructures will help design more effective drug delivery systems to address the challenges of tumor therapy.
