Optimization of extraction process for Xiangxiong Gel Plaster by orthogonal test |

Abstract Objective To optimize the extraction process of Xiangxiong Gel Plaster. Methods The ethanol extraction process was used, the extraction rate of ferulic acid and flavone glycoside and the extract rate of prescription as the indexes, the orthogonal experimental design was used to investigate the influence of ethanol concentration, extraction times, extraction time and other conditions in the extraction process on each index, and the optimal extraction process was optimized. And a verification test was carried out. Results The optimal ethanol extraction process was to add 8 times of 60% ethanol and extract twice, with 1.5 h each time. Conclusion The process is reasonable and feasible, the effective component extraction rate is high, the repeatability is good. It can provide technical reference for the development of Xiangxiong Gel Plaster.
