Application effect of holistic integrated medical teaching method in teaching mode of traditional Chinese medicine gynecology |

Abstract Objective To explore the application effect of holistic integrated medical teaching method in teaching mode of traditional Chinese medicine gynecology. Methods From March to July 2019, 2 natural classes of students (112 students in total) majoring in traditional Chinese medicine of grade 2017 from Hubei College of Chinese Medicine were selected and randomly divided into the experiment group (56 cases) and the control group (56 cases) by lottery. The experiment group was given holistic integrated medical teaching mode, while the control group was given traditional teaching mode. Both groups were taught by the same teacher. After teaching, the skill assessment and theoretical knowledge examination were used to evaluate evaluation results, and questionnaire was used to investigate the satisfaction of teaching method and teaching effect. Results The average scores of skill assessment and theoretical knowledge examination in the experiment group were higher than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). There was no significant difference of the satisfaction of teaching method and teaching effect between the two groups (P > 0.05). Conclusion The holistic integrated medical teaching method can improve the teaching quality of traditional Chinese medicine gynecology, inspire the initiative to learn actively, practice clinical thinking, advance the ability of transforming theory into practice.
