Clinical study of Pediatric compound amino acids combined with Ribavirin in the treatment of infantile herpetic pharyngitis |

Abstract Objective To investigate the clinical study of Pediatric compound amino acids combined with Ribavirin in the treatment of infantile herpetic pharyngitis. Methods From June 2017 to December 2018, 80 cases of infantile herpetic pharyngitis admitted to Yan′an University Affiliated Hospital were selected and divided into the control group and the study group by random number table method, with 40 cases in each group. The control group was treated with Ribavirin. On the basis of the control group, the study group was treated with Pediatric compound amino acids. The clinical efficacy, clinical symptom disappearance time, myocardial injury index and inflammatory factor index of the two groups were compared, and the occurrence of adverse reactions in the two groups was recorded during the treatment. Results After 5 days of treatment, the total effective rate of the study group was higher than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). After 5 days of treatment, creatine kinase isoenzymes (CK-MB), cardiac troponin Ⅰ (cTnⅠ), lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) of children in the two groups were all lower than those before treatment, and those in the study group was lower than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). After 5 days of treatment, the levels of high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP) and tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) of children in the two groups were lower than those before treatment, and those in the study group was lower than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). The time of fever abatement, sore throat and salivation disappearance, herpes and ulcer disappearance and resumption of eating in the study group was shorter than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). There was no significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions of children between the two groups(P > 0.05). Conclusion Pediatric compound amino acids combined with Ribavirin in the treatment of infantile herpetic pharyngitis have a definite curative effect. It can effectively improve the indexes of myocardium and inflammatory factors, without increasing the incidence of adverse reactions, and has high clinical value.
