Preliminary exploration and reflection on optimizing the academic doctor training model of healthcare management |

Abstract China′s health service is facing unprecedented opportunities and challenges. Especially in the context of healthy China′s strategy, optimizing the talent training mode of healthcare management is an urgent needs for the reform and development of the times. Based on the preliminary discussion of the PhD training mode of three renowned Department of Health Policy and Management in the United States, the characteristics are analyzed. And four-dimension suggestions “focusing on talent training, clarifying core competence construction; setting up research field in line with national conditions; setting up curriculum system centered on capacity building; and constructing a reasonable educational evaluation mechanism” are put forward to optimize the academic doctor training model of healthcare management in China.
