Application effect of intra-articular injection combined with ultrashort wave in patients with osteoarthritis |

Abstract Objective To explore the effect of intra-articular injection combined with ultrashort wave in patients with osteoarthritis. Methods Eighty-six patients with osteoarthritis were enrolled in the Department of Joint Surgery in the Honghui Hospital Affiliated to Xi′an Jiaotong University Medical College from August 2017 to September 2019. They were divided into two groups according to the random number table method. The singular group was the LI group (intraluminal injection of sodium hyaluronate for the treatment), and the double number was the LU group (ultrashort wave combined with intra-articular injection for the treatment), with 43 cases in each group. The clinical efficacy and adverse reactions of the two groups were compared. The Western Ontario-Mcmasst University Osteoarthritis Scale (WOMAC), visual analogue scale (VAS), scores of life quality and serum inflammatory factors were analyzed before and after treatment. Results The total effectiveness of LU group was higher than that of LI group (P > 0.05). After treatment, WOMA and VAS scores in the LU group were lower than those in the LI group (P < 0.05), scores of life quality were higher than those in the LI group (P < 0.05), the relative expression of inflammatory factors was lower than that in the LI group (P < 0.05), and the incidence of adverse reactions in the LU group was lower than that in the LI group (P < 0.05). Conclusion Clinically, intra-articular injection combined with ultrashort wave in the treatment of osteoarthritis has a significant effect, which can significantly reduce pain, strong repair ability and the therapeutic effect is good.
