Practice and exploration of the trinity teaching model reform of parasitology inspection under the background of five-year to four-year reform |

Abstract Within the context of the policy of adjusting the five-year to four-year reform for medical laboratory science, and in respect of a variate of problems that exist in the teaching of parasitological laboratory medicine in Shaanxi University of Chinese Medicine, such as the out of date teaching content, the dull teaching form, the defective evaluation mechanism, this article proposes the reform of the teaching mode from three dimensions, namely the teaching content and teaching method, the practice teaching and the evaluation method. Based on the characteristics of medical laboratory technology, the article introduces a lot of specific measures to carry out the reform, including adjusting the teaching content, focusing on the key subjects, improving the teaching form, enriching the teaching method (this involves the flexible use of teaching methods, conducting the seminar, building the interactive bridge, and adding the ideological and political education), strengthening the teaching practice, cultivating students′ comprehensive ability and innovation consciousness (by building a digital specimen resource pool, adding more comprehensive and design experiments, conducting social practice teaching, encouraging more involvement in scientific research and training), reforming the evaluation method, and diversifying the assessment indicators. The objectives of this article are to mobilize students and enhance their enthusiasm in learning, to help them master the basic theoretical knowledge of parasitological laboratory medicine in a limited period, to improve their operational skills, to give full play to their innovation, to cultivate their practical and problem-solving ability, and to provide reference on reforming the teaching of parasitological laboratory medicine.
