Pathway analysis of plasma metabolomics in the treatment of hypertensive left ventricular hypertrophy with Uncaria Compound Antihypertensive Tablets |

Abstract Objective To explore the plasma metabolomics pathway of Uncaria Compound Antihypertensive Tablets in rats with spontaneous hypertension and left ventricular hypertrophy. Methods KEGG, HMDB, MetaboAnalyst and other methods were used to carry out the research on the signal pathway, metabolite transporter, related enzyme or molecular annotation and related properties, as well as the visualization of metabolite pathway. Results The metabolic pathways analyzed by MetaboAnalyst showed that 11 metabolites participated in 14 metabolic pathways. Influence values of 2 pathways (pentose phosphate pathway and purine metabolism) were higher (P < 0.05). Conclusion Uncaria Compound Antihypertensive tablet intervenes the pathologic processes of pentose phosphate pathway and purine metabolic biosynthesis pathway in spontaneous hypertensive left ventricular hypertrophy rats.
