Abstract Integrin β1 is the major member of the integrin family, it can activate a variety of signal transduction pathways. The FAK-Ras-MAPK signal transduction pathway is an important signal transduction pathway mediated by integrin β1, which is closely related to the occurrence and development of many diseases, and it is also one of the important mechanisms of tumorigenesis and development. This is mainly related to the fact that it can induce epithelial-mesenchymal transformation, promote the proliferation of tumor cells, inhibit the apoptosis of tumor cells, and promote the formation of tumor blood vessels. Therefore, this pathway has become a potential target for the treatment of tumors. This paper reviews the components, transduction mechanism, and the related research progress on tumorigenesis and development of β1-FAK-Ras-MAPK signal transduction pathway.
