| Clinical effect of Recombinant Human Interferon alpha 2b Vaginal Effervescent Capsules combined with Pidotimod in the treatment of cervical human papillomavirus infection |

Abstract Objective To investigate the curative effect of Recombinant Human Interferon alpha 2b Vaginal Effervescent Capsules(Xinfuning) combined with Pidotimod in the treatment of cervical human papilloma virus (HPV) infection. Methods From January 2014 to December 2018, 100 patients with cervical HPV infection who diagnosed and treated in Materna and Child Health Hospital of Hubei Province were selected. According to the principle of random grouping, there were divided into group A and group B, 50 in each group. Group A was treated with Xinfuning alone and group B was treated with Xinfuning combined with Pidotimod. Reexamination after 6 months of treatment, the levels of plasma T lymphocyte subsets (CD3+, CD4+, CD4+/CD8+) were detected. The therapeutic efficacy, recurrence rate and adverse reactions were analyzed. Results The effective rate of group B was higher than that of group A, the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). The levels of plasma T lymphocyte subsets (CD3+, CD4+, CD4+/CD8+) of group B were significantly higher than those of group A, the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). The recurrence rate of group B was significantly lower than that of group A, the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions in group A and group B was basically the same, and there were no statistically significant differences (P > 0.05). Conclusion Xinfuning combined with Pidotimod can effectively improve the immune function of patients with HPV infection, the curative effect and safety, which is worthy of further clinical promotion.
