Effect of Tripterygium Glycosides Tablets combined with Compound α-ketoacid Tablets on patients with chronic renal failure |

Abstract Objective To investigate the effects of Tripterygium Glycosides Tablets combined with Compound α-ketoacid Tablets on patients with chronic renal failure. Methods The clinical data of 300 patients with chronic renal failure admitted to the Department of Nephrology, the First People′s Hospital of Ziyang, Sichuan Province from February 2013 to February 2018 were divided into control group and observation group according to different treatment methods, with 150 cases in each group. The levels of C-reactive protein (CRP), tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α), malondialdehyde (MDA), superoxide dismutase (SOD), glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px), transforming growth factor-beta 1 (TGF-β1) and urinary collagen type Ⅳ (Ⅳ-C) were observed before and after treatment in the two groups. Results There were no significant differences in the levels of CRP, TNF-α, MDA, SOD, GSH-Px, TGF-β1 and Ⅳ-C between the two groups before treatment (P > 0.05). Compared with before treatment, the levels of CRP, TNF-α, MDA, TGF-β1, Ⅳ-C in the two groups after treatment decreased, while the levels of SOD and GSH-Px increased. The levels of CRP, TNF-α, MDA, TGF-β1, Ⅳ-C in the observation group were lower than those in the control group after treatment, the levels of SOD and GSH-Px were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion The clinical effects of Tripterygium Glycosides Tablets combined with Compound α-ketoic Tablets in the treatment of patients with chronic renal failure are obvious, which is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
